Ngl the sod players in anniversary bg's was fucked but the best thing that could have happened to the game was fixing chronoboon costs. Them being 10g per before was absolutely outrageous and the classic team was never going to address it had the boons not been exploitative in av for that hour
not that dont agree. but stop worrying about GDKPS and WorldBufs, they are both pure garbage and foster NOTHING but toxicity. WBs should of been permanently REMOVED from the game several versions ago.
@@Leavaris world buffs being frozen as they are is a fun little mechanic and people needing to venture out into the world actually makes sense in the context of the game.
@ there's nothing fun about a bunch of sheep crying they lost their WBs 13 seconds into a fight because they cant help but blow their loads without waiting on the tank to hold threat after spending a week collecting them. There is plenty of other places for you to get your dopamine and don't need it from a magical floating number rising from your characters swing as you die immediately after because you cant control yourself. OH SOOOOOO much FUN!
@ it was a failure because SOD isnt classic wow, its retail. just because YOU like GDKPS doesnt make it good for the game, they are a pure cancer to it period. The rest of the world can care less that you have 3 jobs and 7 children from 3 baby mommas while trying to juggle a GF and a side chick and your pissed off that you get interrupted 17 times while trying to login in peace for 20 minutes.
In vanilla, completing quests while being above their level starts giving greatly reduced reputation as a reward, down to like 10% of the original value or something along those lines. Being able to exploit a quest reset for reputation... is not worth the time investment. Better to just grind money/runecloth and get the reputation up via runecloth donates. Well, when you are a lvl 60 who transfers over. Runecloth donate for rep was something like lvl 50 thing.
if you die on anniversary HC server is the free transfer to Classic Anniversary servers or does it send you to era where the population is already full bis an like 10% of the active population?
was there ever a case in the past of hardcore players transferring to normal? I really don't know but if not, then I can understand why this problem might have appeared

Doesn't take a lot of research or googling to find out though, I googled "Official Hardcore Servers 2023" and result number 3 took me here: news.blizzard.com/en-gb/article/23973734/rules-of-engagement-classic-hardcore-is-coming-to-world-of-warcraft "After dying on a Hardcore realm, players will be able to choose to utilize the Free Character Move service and move their dead character to a non-Hardcore Classic Era realm. Once the move is complete to the non-hardcore realm, that character may resurrect as normal, but the way back to a Hardcore realm will be closed to them." tl;dr - This service has been here since 2023
Mark my words. This is all them using Era Launcher as a testing group to move everything into a one launcher and just swapping like retail and plunderstorm.

I saw my map reset moving from dead SoD servers to the SoD Mega Server. Between that and the AV fiasco I'm completely unsurprised.

season of mastery didnt had world buffs, and it was a complete failure worse than anniversary realms, GDKP's are literaly a bless for this game

Every video is some kind of compliment to a game you play hours a day.
