Crazy to me that queens of the Stone Age’s “millionaire” and this song were on the same Tony hawk game I played growing up, and later listening to kyuss that this was the same singer
Slo Burn & Unida were my go-tos when I wanted to listen to Kyuss but I wanted to hear something I didn't know already by heart from front to back. That until I started knowing these two front to back as well.
@@doormankrw your friends with a couple of guys in Unida, fucking hell that's cool. Coping with the urban coyote is one of the best rock albums of all time. From start to finish it's perfect. Do they know how good it is and if they weren't messed around by the record label they could have been absolutely huge?

Casey King It's called stoner rock/metal. Usually it's something like "psychedelic metal" (fuzz guitars as in the 60's psych-rock (Hendrix f.e.), long rhythmical and hypnotic instrumental parts, thrash/hardcore ryhthms, bluesy riffs and cadence, heavy metal solos). I think 'stoner' is from 'stoned' (by visions gained by hallucinogens and mirages under the californian desert sun; indeed most of the stoner rock bands come from California and love desertic atmospheres).
One of the 10 best & essentials Stoner albums ever.
I remember 1992. High school. Alice In Chains. I saw Thong Song on MTV, bought Blues For The Red Sun, and was blown away. I still follow the Garcia.

Different singers but Joshua Home was in both hands 😁
