    I don't know if my car jack can even lift 1000 Lbs. This guy should work for AAA.

    8:36 Man, I love that pic of Louie with his gang of lifters that is shown so often whenever Westside is brought up anywhere. One of the most famous pics of Louie and the older crew. I swear they look like a prison gang in that pic, especially Louie with his Fu-Manchu and all the guys jacked like crazy with no shirts on. 😎

      the fact most of them probably were in a prison gang at some point gotta help

    What a machine. Insane genetics and work ethic to do what he accomplished.

    When you listen to how these guys talk about the competition sometimes in the gym is completely opposite of what Louie used to espouse about his system about never getting injuries and how they stuck to percentages and certain number of reps but then these guys talk about war in the gym I believe these guys

      actually i thought about it, it's more like a reverse bobby hill moment, with chuck getting rid of your bag, instead of taking it

    Could we get a podcast with a younger powerlifter to talk about the future of the sport?

    • @bmstylee
      @bmstylee 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The future is more drugs and barely 2" ROM benches and deadlifts.

      @@bmstylee you guys aren’t following the sport. Equipped lifting is dead and has been for years. The best lifters of the last decade are Haack and Dan Bell, both have a conventional, full range of motion in all three lifts. There are no well known top lifters doing 2” bench presses or using lifting gear.

    Westside's biggest Hangup is the gear.
