FZ was a continuation of the "Fazer" naming convention from the previous generation of Yamahas like the fz6 and FZ1. I believe the Fazer name dates back to the 90s. The MT name was much more fitting as this generation of Yamahas shares very little in common with the Fazer models except the naked styling. Fazers were inline fours in a completely different chassis.
Yea, they changed the controls and used the left control thingy. Basic features should still be much the same though. Instead of left and right buttons, they have an up and down switch. (I might be mistaken, but this is what I understand...) But thanks for the view and comment. And enjoy the '22 07!
Hello sir thank you for the information,I want your opinion I bought MT07 2022 brand new I want to change the exhaust system which brand do you advise for a nice sound 😊

Hello informational video, i was wondering is the oil lamp allways lighting up when the key is turned to on? or is it only when it actually needs an oil change?
Thanks for the comment. Yes, the oil light will always be on if the key is on and engine is off. Once you start the engine and it gets oil pressure, then it will go off. If it comes on while you riding, then it means low oild pressure and you will need to check the oil level. Hope this helps.
