Absolutely loving these tutorials! Production is top notch and so great to see mantic get some attention too!
Will be working on my troopers from Star Saga using this method...ready for the all new Deadzone!!!

Great tutorial! With modern knowledge I would always recomment a black basecoat and then drybrushed with shite. It really makes the highlights pop without any effort.

The shade really helps take some of the contrast shininess off. Looks cool, good video

I didn't realize how nice these models are, I'll take another look.

Just discovered this channel. Awesome paintjob on that Marine. Going to watch all your videos in retrospect.

This video has given me some good pointers for how to best utilize contrast paints. Great video 🤘Hope to see some more Deadzone painting videos soon 👍

Great video! I aslo used Militarium Green on my GCPS, but I went for a zenithal preshade and I used the green on both Armor and cloths. It looks great, but I think I will steal Your idea with black cloths:)

With Firefight coming out I'll hopefully be doing one from each faction!

Only thing I would change is to use levidon blue on the armor to make him look more like a cop

Great tutorial, however I think you missed the other glove holding the gun.

Nice to see Deadzone getting some love. Just got 3rd Edition in the mail.
Any particular reason you left the fingers of the gun hand green?

Nice work! I don’t use Contrast paints too often, but you got good results here… my Star Saga figures may wind up getting painted following your tutorial now. :-)

Awesome. Army Painter are just about to release their version of contrast paints - so stay tuned. I'm excited!

Looks good man. I'm impressed with the smooth coverage you got with the contrast paints. Any time I try use them the look pretty blotchy

You gotta be quick, and REALLY shake the bottles. Each colour has its own quirks, Black Templar being the most difficult to work with. The greens and browns seem to be best

@@TacticalWargamesWorld cheers. I have a bunch of infantry to paint soon and now I think I'll give contrasts another bash (went poorly the last few times)

Good tutorial but Q : Why have you painted one glove black and the other green? Seems a bit nonsensical to meas surely both should be the same colour?
