FYI: I have this blurring / running problem when using commercial underglaze transfers on bisque as well. I've found that spraying the clear glaze works far better than dipping or brushing. You need a THIN even coat. You can also do a second bisque firing to "lock in" the underglaze which sometimes helps. Applying the design at the leather hard phase BEFORE bisquing eliminates most of these problems too. Hope that helps someone! ♥️

Great tips! Thanks
Have you tried bisque firing the underglaze on, before adding the clear glaze. I think that would prevent the running/smearing of the underglaze.
Thank you
Did you make the silkscreens you used here?
Are you using slip (as you said) or underglaze? That looks like a tub of underglaze. And, are you putting shinny side down?
Hi is it possible to get plain silk screen paper and print own designs?
Does it fade off after some time of consumption years or months probably- this is sooo cool ❤🔥🔥 I love it
That's neat, I haven't seen those before. I think the running has something to do with zinc in the clear glaze
I’m not sure!
Silkscreens worked well !
Yea but that glaze :(
@@JustBEPottery what’s the solution? Does it need time to dry first before the glaze? Or glaze before the silk screen?
So cool, where did you get your silkscreens? So we’ll done!
Thank you! We go them from Blick's
Buenas tardes, q es eso transparente? Es serigrafía? Cómo se compra? Se puede hacer artesanal?
