He probably won’t play. But it’s smart to keep the idea about him playing. Even if it’s just a rumor about him playing, a team may have to spend time game planning for that
No pressure of course. I would rather have a 100% Hutch next season with a normal risk of injury than a 85% Hutch this season with a higher than normal risk of injury.
@@jorban11 nah if he can play then he should give it a go. If we can make it to the Super Bowl every player who feels like they can play should. The sport is too unpredictable. His injury should’ve shown everyone that. You have to live in the now. Only a team that’s won a championship can think about the future in that way. We have to get a ring first.
When there is even a 1% chance, I believe humans can force their bodies to recover quicker with a goal in mind to meet a goal if they want it badly enough
I just don't want to see him get rushed back only to see a regression or another injury that threatens his career. He's got a bunch of football ahead of him. I'd rather see him do a full rehab and be ready for training camp in the fall.
I hope he waits until next year..... Would absolutely love if he comes back this year, but if there is ANY adverse risk, please just be safe and have a wonderful 10 year pro-bowl career !!!!!
MR HUTCHINSON HAD GREATNESS OF THE SEASON UNTIL THE TRAGIC EVENTS THAT CAUSED HIM TO MISS THE REMAINING SEASON REHABILITATION IS IMPORTANT FOR HIS HEALTHCARE SPRING NFL CAMP WILL HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO EVALUATING HIS STATUS DETROIT 🦁 LIONS WILL DEDICATED THEIR EFFORT TO BE RELENTLESS AND RESILIENT THE SAME AS MR AIDAN HUTCHINSON PERFORMANCE IN EACH GAME HE PLAYED WITH COMPETITIVE IMPACT
Alex smith and Hutch’s injury wasn’t exactly the same. Alex Smith had a compound fracture while hutch didn’t. That’s why it’s a chance he can return and play. If hutch had a compound fracture we would be expecting him to be full go by training camp.
This dude is rich af and plays for a professional sports organization, I guarantee they have access to equipment and knowledge that the average person does not.
I don't not want Hutch to come back unless he knows for sure he will not extend this injury into next year or risk the future. We need him for the long term. This team can compete for a Super Bowl for more than just this year.
We have to wait and see guy. We don’t know anything for sure. We’re not there. I think he’ll be good in the nfc championship. Rotational on passing downs. It should be more about how many snaps, if he’s healthy. Rather than not giving him the opportunity if the staff and doctors says he’s ready
He’s 100% not playing later in the postseason. There’s no guarantee how far the Lions will go, especially with how last years coaching decisions were made. It would be ridiculous to force Hutch back in there. The amount of intensity it takes on each snap and the fact that he’s not in the same football game shape…that takes so much time to get back to that level. It’s unrealistic. Let’s focus on tangible things and not focus on “what if’s”
Referencing players from 8 yrs ago... see, even the doctor thinks medicines and surgeries and rehabs haven't progressed. 0 trust in this dude. Put a real doctor on
Imagine coming back this Feb and winning Super Bowl MVP.
OMG, they'll make a movie about that, and it will go down in the annals of football lore for all of history.
Ngl that will be a crazy thought to imagine 😅
brought a tear to my eye thinking of it
We are possibly in the midst of one of the greatest comeback stories in sports history. I want to see it come true so badly
Let The Young Man Make A Full 100% Recovery ,
💯
Getting back to the Superbowl isn't a guarantee.
if hutch is really as valuable to the lions as everybody says he is then he comes back next year.
He is very valuable and I want to see him play for another decade 😊
He probably won’t play. But it’s smart to keep the idea about him playing. Even if it’s just a rumor about him playing, a team may have to spend time game planning for that
@Ivypoison23 Yes, very good observation.
Get well soon Hutch.
With a Crutch !
No pressure of course. I would rather have a 100% Hutch next season with a normal risk of injury than a 85% Hutch this season with a higher than normal risk of injury.
He needs to be 100- percent,as hard as it is for someone of his personality to sit out , i hope he waits until next season!!!!!!
Agreed. He and the Lions Organization need to play the long game. Their SB window doesn't close this year.
We can win the SB without Hutch!!!! I agree with you both. Rest up and fully recover for a DPOY campaign next year.
Lmao 😂 ya bc your a doctor right lmao 🤣

I know this could be the year but we need him to be 100% before even trying. Worst thing would be another injury that could ruin his career
The sideline can be a dangerous place especially for someone with passion he has it makes sense to have him up in the box with his family.
The human body is spectacular

Let him heal ! Dont put this man in this year !
Hes not coming back this year...other than to stand on the sideline and cheer! And that's ok.

Hyperbaric Chamber. Will they use one on Hutch. I work at a hospital and we have one. The lady told me that it would help a lot. But unproven.

Let's Hutchinson rest...next season big boy..Heal up.
As long as he is 100percent healed if not next year even if hutch don't agree

Play him only if we are at the SB!
He will be playing in the NFC championship 85percent🏈
Next year. Not this season or you risk losing him permanently.
this is such a hippa violation...
