His injury should’ve shown everyone that. You have to live in the now. Only a team that’s won a championship can think about the future in that way. We have to get a ring first.

Alex smith and Hutch’s injury wasn’t exactly the same. Alex Smith had a compound fracture while hutch didn’t. That’s why it’s a chance he can return and play. If hutch had a compound fracture we would be expecting him to be full go by training camp.

I don't not want Hutch to come back unless he knows for sure he will not extend this injury into next year or risk the future. We need him for the long term. This team can compete for a Super Bowl for more than just this year.

I know this could be the year but we need him to be 100% before even trying. Worst thing would be another injury that could ruin his career
