Group that can do everything= SB19. And I'm not even kidding. 1. They own themselves. The CEO of their own entertainment company is Pablo, the leader of SB19 (the fast rapper in Gento), and the other members are board of directors. They make the decisions on how, when, where, why, and what their music will sound like, so it's not unusual for them to just drop albums, singles, collabs, merch, etc. whenever and however they want. Case in point: Pablo dumped TWO solo albums a week apart from each other, with like a few days notice. 2. They make their own music and branding. They compose, write, arrange, produce, direct, conceptualize, choreograph, etc. their music. 3. They are EXCELLENT live performers. This is their forte, and why SB19 has such big organic growth and loyal fanbase. Most of the people who get into them stay on to be lifelong fans. I've only known them for a few days when I saw them perform live and I followed them around the US not even a month later. Their strongest suit is dancing hard choreo while singing and belting songs, and they are great vocalists individually. 4. They have dreams not only for themselves, but for their country and the music industry of the Philippines. You mentioned that they better not have haters, but the sad truth is, they get a lot of forced hate from the public because Filipinos think they are copying Kpop and are wannabes without even checking out their music and what they have to offer. You've seen 3 of their songs, I'm sure you'd understand that they have their own style of music. 5. Their humor and personalities are top notch, because they are just being themselves. They're not forced to act a certain way or be "on brand", they just are naturally them, and that's another thing that fans love. 6. They are VERY, VERY humble. They came from nothing (one of them was homeless) and keep their feet on the ground. These are just some of the things I can think of that are key points of their appeal. @gb0417 Hi kaps! I'm a year old A'tin now haha, but when I first saw them I only knew of them from their collab with Jvke's Golden Hour. They had a concert in NYC and I decided to go, I haven't even memorized their names yet, but when I saw them perform with live vocals and dancing like their lives depended on it, I was hooked! Plus they ALL looked unbelievable in person lolol (I'm still wondering whether Pablo is human or an angel LOL) 😂😆 I like a loy of Kpop groups and have been to their concerts as well, and met some of them up close, but damn, SB19 visuals are visualizing. 😆
@BexaReacts You won't regret it! I've stanned pop groups for like 2 decades now, and SB19 is definitely THE best one hands down. ✋️ They just need THAT opportunity and they'll do the rest! Did you know that Gento became viral because A'tin (their fanbase) kept requesting Kpop groups and tiktok influencers to do the dance? SB19 is not connected to any huge media outlets or entities, so they don't have the funds to pay for marketing lol 😆 So their fans are it, we're their promoters and media network. 😆We've been trying to get them to perform in Coachella next year, so we'll know in 2 months if that happens. 👍

Most of SB19's songs are about self-empowerment and reflection. The members are very involved in their art, especially now that they're self-managed. So they write+compose their own songs (Pablo for the group songs, and each of them for their solos), and they also contribute to the choreography and creative concepts of the M/Vs to varying degrees (the M/V descriptions have the credits!). So what you see and hear is really THEM... their life stories, their creations! A good place to start for their lives is their The First Take performances of GENTO (since you've seen the M/V already!) and MAPA. A great format for watching them would be their M/Vs or official lyric videos first, and then a live vocal performance of that song, a lot of which are on the channel Wish 107.5 (or the "Wish Bus"). Their live performances are really where it's at! They also have a few on the Round Festival where they both sing and dance. Anyway, thank you for checking them out! All i can say is that they raised the bar so high by how much they improved from their humble beginnings (Go Up era), to their revolutionized sound (What era), to their gold standard artistry (Gento era). I can't wait for them to outdo themselves in the next EP!
@BexaReacts I watch most reactors who react to SB19, and it only takes 1 or 2 videos for them to become regular SB19 reactors. I would say 50% of them become full-time SB19 reactors focusing solely on SB19 as their ult( and they go to the Philippines to their concerts, etc) They are really THAT group.
“They’re checking all the boxes” And you haven’t seen them live yet! You are in for a ride. Insane live vocal performers. They are on a league of their own when it comes to live performance. And you wouldn’t believe me even with those exceptional rapping skills, they are just as a good at singing if not better. Check out their First Take performances for Gento and one of their ballad songs called Mapa for a lil bit of taste of their vocal prowess.
Their songs are mostly based on their experiences.. and they composed 99% of their songs, too, which is why there’s so much deeper meaning to it. Btw, their Wish Bus and The First Take live performances are fire! Their Dance Practices are also good, especially the Go Up dance practice which started everything for them when it went viral. ❤

Two things to note about the group - first, their live performances FAR SURPASS the recorded tracks so strongly recommend reacting to any live performance (Wish Bus, which will focus on vocals OR any other events that will showcase their dancing abilities as well). Second, their secret weapon is actually... their ballads! You have seen what they can do with dance/hype songs (a live performance is required still) but they shine just as brightly with ballads. As to members (using Gento MV as base) - guy cooking is Pablo (their leader, composer, producer, and CEO of their company); guy in Gucci is Josh; guy in shower is Stell (main vocal; had been their main choreographer until recently); guy with dog is Justin (their Creative Director); and deep voice guy is Ken (in his solo work, he goes by the name Felip). SB19 stands for SoundBreak as their aim is to break into the music industry specially for PPOP (Philippine Pop) because we never had such kind of thing before in PH. If you can notice, the arrangement of sound/melody is kinda crazy or unique. This group is top notch!

But most of all I love their story, they inspire me! 💙💙💙💙💙 Go Up is their redemption song, it didn’t quite make it until they uploaded their Go Up Dance Practice video, it went viral. The ground encountered so many ups and downs and have managed to make a bond with their fans, A’tin (pronounced as 18, there’s no SB19 without 18 or also 8 before the 19, simply meaning their fans comes first), it can also be read as ATIN, which means OURS in English, sharing everything as family, all the ups and downs. The A is separated as they wanted to give tribute to their original fans AURUM. I really can go on with their story and beginnings, but it’s better experienced by watching Cashual Chuck’s docuseries, The SB19 Story. What? Is SB19 showing their individuality and talent. The song is written by Pablo, co produced by him as well, the MV is conceptualised and is the visual director - Justin, the youngest member. All the members contributed in many aspect of the music and Stell choreographed most of their music in the early years of their career. Did you know that Gento became viral because A'tin (their fanbase) kept requesting Kpop groups and tiktok influencers to do the dance? SB19 is not connected to any huge media outlets or entities, so they don't have the funds to pay for marketing lol 😆 So their fans are it, we're their promoters and media network. 😆We've been trying to get them to perform in Coachella next year, so we'll know in 2 months if that happens. 👍

Most of SB19's songs are about self-empowerment and reflection. The members are very involved in their art, especially now that they're self-managed. So they write+compose their own songs (Pablo for the group songs, and each of them for their solos), and they also contribute to the choreography and creative concepts of the M/Vs to varying degrees (the M/V descriptions have the credits!). So what you see and hear is really THEM... their life stories, their creations!
A good place to start for their lives is their The First Take performances of GENTO (since you've seen the M/V already!) and MAPA. A great format for watching them would be their M/Vs or official lyric videos first, and then a live vocal performance of that song, a lot of which are on the channel Wish 107.5 (or the "Wish Bus"). Their live performances are really where it's at! They also have a few on the Round Festival where they both sing and dance.

Two things to note about the group - first, their live performances FAR SURPASS the recorded tracks so strongly recommend reacting to any live performance (Wish Bus, which will focus on vocals OR any other events that will showcase their dancing abilities as well). Second, their secret weapon is actually... their ballads! You have seen what they can do with dance/hype songs (a live performance is required still) but they shine just as brightly with ballads.

But most of all I love their story, they inspire me! 💙💙💙💙💙 Go Up is their redemption song, it didn’t quite make it until they uploaded their Go Up Dance Practice video, it went viral. The ground encountered so many ups and downs and have managed to make a bond with their fans, A’tin (pronounced as 18, there’s no SB19 without 18 or also 8 before the 19, simply meaning their fans comes first), it can also be read as ATIN, which means OURS in English, sharing everything as family, all the ups and downs. The A is separated as they wanted to give tribute to their original fans AURUM. I really can go on with their story and beginnings, but it’s better experienced by watching Cashual Chuck’s docuseries, The SB19 Story.
What? Is SB19 showing their individuality and talent. The song is written by Pablo, co produced by him as well, the MV is conceptualised and is the visual director - Justin, the youngest member. All the members contributed in many aspect of the music and Stell choreographed most of their music in the early years of their career.
