Thank you so much madam for providing akar riyaz, I have been practicing kharaz & sa ka riyaz since last 4 month, within 10 days my voice quality improved miracoulasly, I started trying Rafi Sahab song of 60's,which was my childhood passion in60's. I started singing along with Rafi sahab song on mobile, I realised my voice had become melodius but later thaught came my voice was mixing with Rafi sahab's voice, I may have a false feeling, I was right, I reduced the volume so I can hear more of my voice , I was in not of very high quality, so i continued practicing at very low volume along with regular riyaz, as the time passed voice became very fine, now I can sing any Rafi sahab song wheather romantic, sad, emotional, nowy voice matches very close to Rafi sahab in style emotion and feeling at very low volume(hardly audible).but recently I tried singing indipendently his song on U tube karaoke with all instrument music my voice is in sur but not that high but not that high quality. The moment Rafi sahab voice is on in my head phone or mobile at very feeble volume my vocal cord returns to same fine quality automaticaly effortlessly. I am totaly puzzeled, why ii is happening.I feel my brain does not process fine vocal out put without Rafi sahab's voice feed back. i am a retired shipping engineer,please advice.I am trying conciously to overcome this problem.again thank you very much for your riyaz lesson My best Regard. Hello Good to hear from you, even my father was an Electrical Officer and worked for 20 years with Univan Shipping management. Coming back to your concern, i feel you should check your range, find the lowest and highest comfortable note that you can sing, also it will take some time to getting used to singing perfectly with a karaoke track. For example i have seen many singers who sing perfectly but when they are in the studio or go on a stage they don't sing as good, but after then with time they get used to it.. So let time and practice sort your concern, you'll surely improve. Regards Guru Dhanoa

I was also an electrical officer like yr father worked 32 years, joined early at 23yrs,last 10yrs switched from main fleet to oil Offshore field, I mainly worked for norwygian co. Gear Bulk with gantry crane, early I also worked for univan for 3yrs.early in sa lession, vershaji had said these you learn very carefully, I followed the same. Combination of kharaj, sa and 1-11 alannkar did wonder , I could'nt believe my ears hearing voice quality, I also added palta from other Places, it helped in fast song having Notes of very short duration. It took 3month to come near Rafi sahab's voice quality. I felt very lucky. At the moment this drawback, I hope to overcome in due course of time. Now I feel , should have tried both from the begining(with singer and indipendently).any way I am from profesion of problem solver, yr father May be knowing better. Aapko jo bhi scale comfortable lage Usi pe Riyaz kijiye.. Alag alag scales bhi try kar sakte ho.. Song ka depend karta hai composition pe.. Kisi song mein composition bahut high bhi jaati hai.. Kisi mein nahi jaati hai.. So choosing scale depends on that.. 😊🙏🏻💐

Varshaji, I just cannot stop appreciating this video that you have so diligently and painstakingly compiled to help us improve our vocal ability. I have been practicing this almost every day for a month. I originally could not reach the "Ga" in Taar Saptak on Alankaar #9 in C#. I was disappointed at first, but strived to ensure that I do not overstretch my voice to avoid damage. So, I adjusted it to my scale C. Once comfortable after a month, I started practicing the entire set in C# scale. To my amazement, I do not feel the strain singing Taar Saptak Ga on Alankaar 9 anymore! The rhythm, your melodious tone and the combinations of patterns you have chosen with the taan is so much fun that I look forward to practicing it over and over again every day. God bless you!!!!!! i started to practice it daily after 6 months my voice has changed and got better rhank you mam for this vedio. from 4 years i was singing in g# and i was singing in false voice eveyone was telling me to sing in open voice but i dint have it. after shifting to g scale and practicing this alankars daily, finally i found my open voice

Varshaji, I just cannot stop appreciating this video that you have so diligently and painstakingly compiled to help us improve our vocal ability. I have been practicing this almost every day for a month. I originally could not reach the "Ga" in Taar Saptak on Alankaar #9 in C#. I was disappointed at first, but strived to ensure that I do not overstretch my voice to avoid damage. So, I adjusted it to my scale C. Once comfortable after a month, I started practicing the entire set in C# scale. To my amazement, I do not feel the strain singing Taar Saptak Ga on Alankaar 9 anymore! The rhythm, your melodious tone and the combinations of patterns you have chosen with the taan is so much fun that I look forward to practicing it over and over again every day. God bless you!!!!!! Looking forward to your return in 2024 to share more of your invaluable Riyaz tips and techniques!

i started to practice it daily after 6 months my voice has changed and got better rhank you mam for this vedio. from 4 years i was singing in g# and i was singing in false voice eveyone was telling me to sing in open voice but i dint have it. after shifting to g scale and practicing this alankars daily, finally i found my open voice
