    Hello @andersjensenorg, I'm glad to find this video. In our organization, we exclusively rely on Windows PIN and Windows Hello for user authentication, rather than traditional passwords. Are there any alternatives or adjustments available for us, considering this authentication method?

    Do you know why when I trigger rpa from dpa, RPA runs with all my windows minimize causing an error ?

    Anyone knows, if it´s possible set a value from PowAutomate Cloud to PowAutomate Desktop?

    Thanks, Andres for your guidance. I have learnt a lot from your videos. I have written a Powershell script for SysAdmin tasks which need to run via Powershell (administrator only). When I go to write up a Desktop Flow. It doesn't work as the Desktop flow doesn't have any option to run my script as admin. When I add another line to run the script via Powershell admin, then I get UAC, which is not an ideal scenario, as my goal is to run this script on client PCs unattended, using Scheduled Cloud Flow.

    Ander, thank you so much for such informative videos. I have a concern though. This does not work well in case if the Flow has UI elements involved. When u are on the VM and you run the flow, it works sucessfully. However, if u minimise the VM and then run the flow, it fails at UI element steps. Is there a way to resolve that?

    Brilliant explanation!! Importantly, you took a practical scenario of developing the flow on one machine and running it on a different machine.
    Just one quick query I am sure you can answer very quickly…. Can a VM be registered to multiple environments?

    • @andersjensenorg
      @andersjensenorg  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much. No, only one environment, but you can ofc change it 🙂

    Nice videos as always.
    Sticking to Power Automate, if you need an idea on your next video, how about putting out a video about a few best practices on how to centrally manage PA/PAD within an organization. Separation of environments, license management, etc.
    Compared to Ui Path, it doesn't seem as intuitive. Cheers and keep up the good work.

    Hello Andres, I would like to send an email from PA desktop that don't be dependent on the user's email, like a email or notification sended by power automate itself. Because I don't want that the user of my flow know the email contein, is it possible?. I hope it has been understandable. Thanks for your answer!!!

    Hello Anders I just came by your videos I need some guidance, when setting up the flow I don't get the option to connect directly to my computer, all i get are " Connect with username and password", "Connect with sign in - Attended (preview)" and Using an on premise data gateway (deprecated). Any guidance on how to get the direct to computer option?

    Hi Anders, in my scenario, I need to pass a url from cloud to automate to be able to open that URL in browser ( As far as I understood, there is no cloud connection which opens a new browser and paste the step of previous step( which is a URL) in browser)and then again coming back in my power automate cloud to download a file from that URL. How can I do that?

    All of your videos seem to start from just downloading the PAD installer whether for PAD or the machine runtime. From everything I've read, a special license (with "Attended RPA") is required to run a desktop flow from the cloud. What kind of account & license do you have that allows you to do this? Is it free? How did you sign up for it? Also everything I've read about the PL-500 exam talks about things like Dataverse, environments, etc... but I don't think I've ever seen you talk about any of that. What kind of accounts & licenses are truly needed to try all the skills in scope for the PL-500?

    • @andersjensenorg
      @andersjensenorg  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Common Sense. Thanks a lot for the feedback 🙂 It's very rare that I download PAD in my videos and here I don't download PAD, but the Machine Runtime just. If you want to run PAD for cloud you just need an M365 premium license. If you want to also be able to schedule it, you need an Unattended license. Check this: powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/ I've prepared 52 lessons about the PL-500 exam, and yes it will cover environments, etc. To be able to prepare and pass the PL-500, you just need a free license. Kind regards, Anders

    • @allthecommonsense
      @allthecommonsense ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andersjensenorg thanks. Does "M365 Premium" include all the various things tested in the PL-500 then? Dataverse, multiple environments, etc.? Are you saying then if I have M365 Premium, I don't need to also get the "PA with Attended RPA" license, which is what official MS docs suggest is needed to run PAD from cloud? From what I've seen, M365 isn't free (per your "just need a free license" comment above). Do they always offer a free trial for M365 Premium, or should we expect to have to pay for a month or two? Do we also need an Azure/DevOps account for the PL-500 skills, and does it need to be connected or related to the M365 account in any way? They don't make it easy for a beginner to figure this out.
