I like how Riley chose to be in this film, and her choice of films in general is refreshing. A woman from her privileged background would normally never even consider having to "slum it" with unknown first-time actors who were just found on the street.

purplefashion03 but she’s come from Hollywood Royalty

    • @jillian5582

Despite her being the granddaughter of Hollywood royalty, Riley wasn’t raised in wealth. Her father was a deadbeat, drug addict that she lived with a lot during her formative years. Her mother, Lisa Marie was always in and out of toxic relationships. Going back further, her grandfather wasn’t the best role model either. He was an addict who constantly ran around on Priscilla. His drug usage led to his early death. Riley didn’t have it easy growing up. Her grandfather may have been the king of rock and roll but Riley saw a lot of poverty and drugs on her father and even her mother’s side

....such hyperbole. Hollywood has been HOLLYWEIRD for the past 23 years and counting....None of them are FACTUALLY coming off privileged or on a pedestal 🙄. Such an outright lie and denial of reality. Totally FAKE commentary. I mean human society is literally dead right now because of Hollyweird. They DO NOT look good in any way 🤣🤣. And her background WOULD put film acting and artsy projects like this such as working with "non-actors" in her heart. It would be fulfilling for her. What an ugly, self defeating perspective to have if you were born into privilege and you decide to "look down" on everything. You would CERTAINLY not be winning, you would ruin everything for yourself to the point of making all of the wealth and luxury pointless. You would ruin the experience of being wealthy with your hideous attitude and perspective. This is exactly the ONLY thing humans have ever done with wealth and nice things....they ruined it and made themselves miserable. You sound mentally ill.

Loved the film!! I really connected with it and it certainly didn't feel like a 3 hour movie 🎥

Damn right! Time F-L-EEEEE-W right by. And the acting was first rate, wasn't it? I am a serious fidget-y person after a running time of about one hour, and 40 minutes.

A youtube channel creator named, "Just Some Videos," made an AWESOME, MESMERIZING, ADDICTIVE music video using this movie using Lana Del Rey's song, Summer Bummer! It's so effing good! I watch it over and over! It has the exact same feel of the movie and the scenes in the movie is so good with her music. You should check it out, here's the link: th-cam.com/video/SdCsbEb5a78/w-d-xo.html

I was about to criticize this movie for all the obvious reasons yet I was able to engage in some kind of suspension of disbelief and just let it in in its raw form.
And I ended up loving it.
I love movies that leave unanswered questions and that can be view from different perspectives (layers, man).
    Great movie.
It's up there on my favorite indie movies list along with Beasts of the Southern Wild and Buster's Mal Heart.
