I recently replayed it. I found it very enjoyable and entertaining. Same for KOTOR. That's what I mean by holds up. It's as good as I remember.
Aside from KOTOR and KOTOR ll The Sith Lord's, TFU is one of my top favorite Star Wars game's. Sam Witwer's performance as Starkiller is top notch.
I love TFU but I prefer Jedi Outcast as far as how the lightsabers and force abilities work.

Force Unleashed, KOTOR, Jedi Outcast... Lucas Arts was hitting on a different level back in the day. I really, really miss old school Star Wars. The prequel era had some of the best comics, merch, novels, and of course video games. Starkiller has always been one of my favorite characters, as well as Force Unleashed being one of my favorite SW games! Sam Witwer is 🐐
Facts. There's like 8 separate games for the clone wars. I wish that eras ambition had this eras technology.

2008 was the best time to be a Star Wars fan as a kid. It was a couple years after ROTS and we all felt like Star Wars was done, then we get The Clone Wars Movie and the TV show every week along with this beast of a game that really felt like a movie of its own. TCW and TFU will always have a special place in my memories.

I just realized that they play the same version of the force theme when starkiller leaves his home with Vader and when Anakin leaves his mother with qui Gon. That’s such a cool detail!
Loved both of these games- the story was pretty good sad times when star killer ain't canon no more..

I always loved playing this game. I wish they would remastered for the newer generation consoles.
In my opinion force unleashed 1&2 are for me personally the best Star Wars games ever made next to 2005 battlefront but these games means a ton to me! I even got to meet Sam Witwer a few years back at a con I went with my step dad to pick him up from the airport it’s among the greatest moments of my life!

The good old days of star wars games. I first started off with Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. Use to watch my older brother play the games before that like Dark Forces and Mysteries of The Sith. All had really good storylines worthy of remakes. It's too bad we didn't get Force Unleashed 3, i heard it was suppose to be open world.

This game needs a remake and it's sequel. Just imagine with upgraded graphics and game mechanics also maybe even more story DLC and more skins or I hope we get a third one.

Wow, cool. I never played The Force Unleashed game as I didn't have the PS3 console at the time, but I really enjoy watching your video of you playing this amazing Star Wars game. What really amazed me of the time line of the story of this game is the fact it take place two years before A New Hope. And that is surprising to me as the main lead character Starkiller was alive before the events of the original film. I really like Prequel films, books & games before the original movies in the Star Wars franchise as it does shown what happen during the Galactic Empire time as well way further back like 50+ years ago. And this game story time line is really interesting as shown a son of a surviving Jedi who survive Order 66 as well other Jedi's plus well know characters.
I don't want to bring up my personal favourite anime franchise, but I really like to share & talk about my enjoyment & interests of the Arifureta franchise. To me personally, Arifureta is a really great franchise, not only just watching the anime adaptation, but from the light novel books as well as it got fantastic storytelling & characters plus amazing lore & world building. What I really like about Arifureta is the fact there are hero's who going to take down this twisted & evil god name Ehit. He used the fantasy world of Tortus as a game of cheeseboard of war for his own entertainment & as well the joy to see people to suffering & despair by his manipulation & wisdom. This group of hero's in question are know as the Liberators lead by a girl name Miledi Reison, her goal is to make the world of Tortus peaceful as well freedom to the people so that they can live their life's with their own free will. But sadly the Liberators (characters from the franchise prequel series) down fall was due to Ehit manipulate the people and one by one each member was killed by the very people that the Liberators wanted to protect. After their defeat, the seven surviving members of the Liberators had made a new plan, due to the fact they can't face up against Ehit on their own, they decided to hide away from the world and built great labyrinth so that one day, one person will acquired all of their magical abilities and used it to kill & defeat Ehit so that hopes that one day Tortus can be free from suffering & despair. 2000 years later their hope's came true as one person who was summoned against his own will came to the world of Tortus was Hajime Nagumo. Hajime is very reluctant to carried out the wishes from the Liberators including Mideli Reison as he more interested to find a way to return home to his world (Earth), but he does eventually kill Ehit and end this game of cheeseboard war for good.
This is why I love Arifureta because of the story's of a world that in the pawns of that Ehit hands and also their are hero's who would stand up against this evil god to save the people & world of Tortus. And also there is one person who will make a world a different as Hajime Nagumo will take down Ehit evil rain as well saving the world of Tortus from his manipulation. In my opinion, I find Arifureta is a little similar to Star Wars a bit because there is one evil antagonist who want to rule the world &/or galaxy as well manipulate people to their wisdom let alone playing on both or multiple sides. And just like Star Wars, there are heroic characters in Arifureta like the Libreators & Hajime Nagumo who will face Ehit and his army of Apostle's. So this is why I want you to look on the Arifureta franchise so you can know what it all about in the books as well in the anime adaptation.
The destruction effects on this still havent been topped today
I'd love to see you do a what if Starkiller was in the current Canon. I just know you'd crush it.

Ive been playing this for the last couple of weeks still fun and holds up. Finally Full Upgraded Starkiller could been able to due to lack of interest or try to find holocrons and could not find them
I remember farming the first level once I got force lightning because I couldn’t get past Raxus as a kid.
And also the actor they used for this game is the one who voiced dath maul Sam witwer is his name

Classic Star Wars game
This game is the reason for the rebirth of my interest in Star Wars. After Revenge Of The Sith in 2005, it felt like there was no future for the franchise. I stopped collecting action figures and for some very weird reason I got into Star Trek from 2008 - 2010. I never played SWTFU in 2008 because I heard the demo was not that impressive. Finally, in 2011, my gut was leading me to a 3.75" stormtrooper at a Toys-R-Us (RIP) and it lead to getting this game. Ever since then, I have hundreds of Star Wars action figures. This game saved Star Wars for me.

I loved force unleash and remember picking it up for wii as soon as it came out for both 1&2 respectively. My only issues were that the gameplay and controls on 360 for TFU kinda sucked, and that TFU2 was clearly sped up to release for holidays, it was an unfinished game full of repeating bosses and levels. I remember beating it in one night and being like “…that was four levels?”
Still lucasarts had some amazing games. jedi knight/outcast/academy, battlefront, KOTOR (the best star wars game there is) TFU… the good old days

I just play though the Wii on Nintendo switch and not playing the though the main version. I also just got the Proxy Funko Pop.
Whoever said they are a bane fan dissapointed me. Dave bautista is not a good bane, bane is tall and slender, grew up breathing toxic gas and not eating nearly enough to get weight, and never lost the physique he got from mining. Also bautista's head isn't even close to being similar, so idk why people think that but it's mind boggling

Evidently Filoni kept his retconning ways even with Disney Star Wars, which is part of why that timeline is a mess, too.

3 different versions as far as I know. This one, the one for Wii, and DS. The game released on other consoles but had shared styles. Wii shared styles with PS2 and PSP, PS3 was with Xbox 360 and PC, and DS is its own version (again this is just as far as I know)

Ahhhhh you're missing out, Theory! The PS2 version is the superior version of the game! It has more content in it, like it actually follows the story of the... story. For instance, you actually go to the Jedi Temple several different times for your trials throughout the game, there's better levels and they're bigger too to be honest. The PS3/360/Wii/PC version is HD graphics, sure, but it's a very cut down version of the game! I have played every version of this game and I have even read the books, I am a certified expert on TFU lol.
