i like the way the industries all need something from another industry so a train can be built as a run to deliver items and also collect items as you travel along
You can also get the train not wanting to move when cars are to heavy for it without giving it a bit of a slammed throttle regulator and reverser. I watched you building tracks here at Mesa. Sometimes when I am trying to build between switches it glitches and wont let me connect, haven't seen you have the same issue. Enjoying the series, keep it up! Made me wanna go back in, I hadn't played this since they made a 2nd map.
Glad you're enjoying it. It's been a year since I played last. Has been nice to be back. It's certainly not been flawless though. I've seen to odd crash and noticed a few things not working quite as expected. The biggest issue I've had so far wasn't really the games fault but was either OBS or more likely windows. On a future episode there won't be a build element as I recorded the entire episode including the build and the delivery taking a couple of hours. The preview screen showed the recording so everything looked fine but when I opened the recordings in the editor I could hear myself, I could see my mouse moving about but instead of seeing the game I saw the editor. The editor wasn't even running when recorded this so windows was doing something weird. I had to edit the save resetting things and do the delivery again. Those moments aren't the best but oh well... It's windows 11, what do you expect lol.
It looks like overkill. I've recorded beyond this and in the upcoming episodes I use pretty much all the tracks I lay in this one so more work now, less work later.
@bluewizard on my save, that is in the same map as yours , i like to do more simple, First, cuz am basing a little bit from the railroad of my city, and Second cuz i like simple stuff
Your local railway... Nice. I was chatting with someone else about this a while back. It's great that there's multiple ways to build. You can try and make it look as real as possible or try to make it as optimised as possible. In these videos I try to optimize it for my single player play through where I aim to complete the food chain. I don't want to uncouple and do runarounds as it would allow things down. Could you imagine the cost of buying the land to add in all this track though lol. And that's the thing I love about open play games like this is there's no wrong way to play.
COOL VIDEOS.-
Man, I hopped on TH-cam at the perfect time lol, time to watch this and get some motivation to play myself lol 😂
Edit: typo
Those deliveries aren't going to get done by themselves :-)

I'm a sucker for any game with a delivery or build chain. :-)
