    You are truly a prof in your method of teaching. It seems very simple to learn italiano in this method.

    Learning these sentences for the first time ever. This would be gibberish if I didn't know Spanish and French. Already knowing the two REALLY makes picking up Italian SO much easier. So much similarities.

    Great videos, but on this one I am confused because sometimes you use an article (al ristorante vs in pizzeria) both are eating establishments but sometimes you don't (a scuola, vs , all' universita) both are schools. Is there any rule, rhyme, or reason, or is it random and must be learned by usage and practice?

    • @ProfessorDaveExplains
      @ProfessorDaveExplains  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha yes it can be confusing, I don't recall too well but yes I believe with certain things like prepositions and articles you just sort of learn by usage which things go together.

      Good question man. It's very confusing most of the time. As he said, we need to mix with the real speakers in order to get to gripe with it. Un abbraccio!!!

    sorry, i am asking so many questions, but '' vado '' is in simple present right ? why are you using it for present continuous ? is it the same ?

    • @ProfessorDaveExplains
      @ProfessorDaveExplains  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i think in this context it's the same, as i've never heard of present continuous, but my mom would be the one to ask, she wrote all this stuff.

    • @nishchaytiwari8537

      Professor Dave Explains . Ask her what's the difference between " io studio " and " io studiando ".
      Because I think present continuous exists. If yes, please make a video about that too. Thanks

    • @ProfessorDaveExplains
      @ProfessorDaveExplains  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      io studio means i study, io sono studiando means i am studying. you need the auxiliary verb with that tense.

    • @nishchaytiwari8537
      @nishchaytiwari8537 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Professor Dave Explains . One more doubt. You said in one of the videos that we should use "stare" instead of "essere" when we talk about something temporary.
      Don't you think instead of " io Sono studiando " it should be " io sto studiando"?

    • @mynameisbubu
      @mynameisbubu 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ProfessorDaveExplains Io sto studiando. 😉
