'Easy, Smooth, Convenient' . . . so all the things I DON'T want in a seed! 😉 Valheim for me is all about the exploration and then finding ways to overcome and optimize what you discover. The fun is dealing with the unexpected challenges. Finding your way to a Moder mountain that is completely surrounded by Mistlands, being forced to do a naval landing into an Swamp island. And the joy of discovery, I never look at seeds for the maps I'm playing. The excitement of discovering the perfect location for a base (instead of just looking one up).
I just don't wanna have my run bricked by random chance 😅 I always put these seeds in a document and never check ones ive chosen until after I've completed the run! Still leads to complications. My latest run was a seed from the document and it ended up having moder right near mistlands 😳 Fun times.
What a seed you found! I saw the 3 Hildir bosses right next to each other and was waiting to hear your reaction when you noticed and you did not disappoint. My next playthrough will be on this seed
It's a great seed, I got rid of that tedious metal hauling when they introduced the portal slider. No more of that lugging, drag of it. I hated it. I'm so happy it's gone.
It used to be scary back when I was a swamp level fledging, and I was afraid of serpents eating my boat full of iron. But now, w/100 xbow still, they're just one shot fodder. I see it as just a huge time sink that is better off spent doing something else. I might lug it w/someone that's noob on a 1st time through, though, so they get that danger experience.@@terratanzanite
@@terratanzanite It's been a while since I played Valheim. I'm just now getting back into it. That's why I watched this. So, your inventory doesn't come with you across worlds?
No seriously, it is hard to find great seeds. I spent hours and had to settle with something decent. Rushed to get karve and sail out to where I actually wanted to start the playthrough.
I think you may have missed the point of this game. Exploration is at the root, and saying that a seed is dead, because exploration is a hassle on it. Find another game to play.
That's the great thing about games like this. The game is what you make of it. If there's an aspect of a game that you don't like and there are tools to help alleviate it, then do that and enjoy the parts of the game that you enjoy. For me, I like to play modded to alleviate the nuisance of the monotonous tasks and inventory management.

I know I'm a strange outlier. I've got four Immersive playthroughs done! no maps or portals for me! 🙂@@terratanzanite
Thats amazing!!! 😳You're def not an average vikingm

Yeah it was super lucky! Might just be my next seed as well 😅
I like FF9 music in background😊
love your seed vids
Thanks! I was overdue for a new one!
I'm still playing on the tomatodown seed that you showcased months and months ago
Nice! Glad you like that. I'll find more really neat yet challenging seeds soon!

Totally understandable its how my irl group likes it

@@NbKXStorm I mean, you CAN world hop. But I get it if you disapprove of that.
World-hopping has been made irrelevant by the portal all official world modifier.

wish in the world of valheim there was more ocean and less archipelago
Im actually the opposite! One day I hope we will be able to customize this to our liking...

Yeah it takes a ton of time normally!!!
Moder bad on second seed.
Shes not perfect but def not the worst. Bad for me would be towards the edge or the world or only within mountains surrounded by mistlands
True, but getting thought plains that early in progression is more than I would like ;)@@terratanzanite
Oh I always keep in mind root harnesk for easy plains runs.
Interesting. Root armor is new since I last played so haven't experimented with it yet.

It's something added november 2021 😅

Probably played over 1k hours with full exploration in mind. It's just not how I prefer things.
