10 years ago I'd never have thought Will Poulter would play Adam freaking Warlock. But here we are... he's all buffed up and personally I believe he can bring a ton to this role. Really excited to see Volume 3. Let's go!

He's been getting big roles, he had a big role in the Katherine Bigelow film Detroit for instance and got a lot of attention for that role which was quite a serious role where he played a racist cop.

He looks nothing like the comics whatsoever. He dyed his hair gold. That's about it. There are no other similarities between him and the comics. That doesn't mean he won't do a good job. He can act forsure. Especially if they are taking this movie in a more serious direction than the other guardians movies. But to specifically say he looks like the comics is ridiculous and not true.
He's a great actor. I loved him in We're the Millers and The Revenant and I didn't complain when he got cast. He worked his ass off and he's earned this! Can't wait to see Adam Warlock!
I just wish that they had done this before offing Thanos. They're kind of a pair. More than half of his storylines really require a Thanos. I'm still hoping that they bring Brolin back at some point. There are just too many great Thanos stories that we didn't get, too.
Right before production on IT was supposed to begin, there were creative differences between the original director Cary Fukunaga and WB which resulted in Andy Muschietti coming in as director, and a re-cast of virtually every character including Pennywise (Poulter was replaced with Skarsgard)
thank God he didn't get that role - Pennywise would have ruined his career....he has gotten roles of the lovable, naive, MISUNDERSTOOD, good-meaning fellow - this Adam Warlock role is perfect for him because Warlock was misunderstood in comics....

GUYS! Remember that he was also initially cast as Pennywise in the new It before Bill Skarsgard took over because of scheduling conflicts and changing directors. If Bill was such a grand actor to do Pennywise, imagine what Will could do with this character. But yeah Will had a big glow up. He was cute but annoying in Narnia, then adorkable in We're The Millers. He went from: I'll bring her home at 9 to I'll bring her home whenever I want.

Me and my mates always used to bump into him all the time in the oddest places. It got weirdly funny as he started recognising me. This was a long time ago shortly after his son of Rambow days when we were all a bit younger (pre We're The Millers). My favourite time was definitely seeing him at a Four Tet gig in London arches and let's just say we saw a man about a dog in the smoking area and subsequently danced till the extremely wee hours. I'm also a massive Adam Warlock fan, so it's weird how the world works out. Also had him on our flight back from Marbella. Good times.
