These guys are adorable but i learned precisely nothing about top trails in Chicago. I think they mentioned Bullfrog Lake early on but then it was just coffee, Fleet Feet and slow-mo shots of Hoka shoes (Speedgoats, Cliftons) for 19mins. @hoka 3/10 could do better. PS love your shoes. Thanks.
Honestly there isn't much beyond the 606 and the lake front trail in terms of actual trail within the city of Chicago, both of which are amazing, not down playing them at all. Des Plaines River trail is a combo paved/hard pack that stretches just west of Logan Square/Buck town ~50 mi north to the Wisconsin border. Surprised they didn't mention it, the DPR trails are closer than Palos/Bull Frog Lake as well.
