Great video Jason. Having a family member with Autism, I have learned a lot about the way the system works. The blanket term used here in the US is Special Needs. The term can include anything from autism to dyslexia, blindness and cerebral palsy, and many many more. Autism by it's self is a very broad term. I know autistic people that need 24/7 supervision and others that may be autistic, but are able to mask the symptoms so well, you would never guess they are autistic. Many Autistic people are nonverbal, they have a really hard time communicating with others. Others like my family member have certain things that interest them and they are real chatterboxes when it comes to something they like, but are unable to communicate about anything else. Weather you are diagnosed or not, you will always be Jason to me. Have a great day my friend. Jeff

You raise some good points, there seems to be an obsession with labelling people.

I'm 3 years older than yourself, but listening to you, it's like looking in the mirror. "SAFE" Being the ultimate description. If it wasn't for spell checker I'd be in trouble. Biggest problem there days as an adult is being able to get a referal. I'll be following with great interest

    Hi Jason,
Have I a problem with people being labeled "normal", there's no such thing, we're all individuals and when we don't fit in to what society considers the norm, then we're a problem as they don't take the time to understand us as individuals.
