That standing sleep pod is pretty toxic for an office set up, like the companies will think they can overwork you just cause they know have a place to let you rest.
So... the bad news is, if a Japanese company is providing those pods, it's actually an IMPROVEMENT, since they already expect a toxic level of overwork, resulting in people sleeping in the office. If they are providing one of these pods, it's a step UP. 😬
@@glengamble526 nah, it's like winning a small lottery but you still don't make enough to live so it's just slightly improving your current situation by paying off your current bills but not solving the fact that you operate at a deficit.
@@glengamble526 no, we're saying different things. You are saying that somebody would complain about not receiving ALL of the prize money because of taxes. I am saying that it is more like giving somebody bonus money when the actual problem is that it just provides temporary relief to avoid solving the ACTUAL problem.
@12:55 We used to call those "sensory deprivation tanks," which I always thought was an ominous and somewhat deceiving term, since they are actually incredibly relaxing. This new iteration takes that to a whole, better level.
I received a session in a sensory deprivation tank as a gift. I made it less than 20 minutes into my hour session. Completely dark, completely silent. I felt like I couldn’t breathe.
It would be nice to see these as "alternatives" to hotels that run across the country- kind of like those space igloo pods that are in Antarctica, but there would be Significant price differences, from $30-$50 a night, on up depending.
Maybe you were joking when talking about the Mink camper, but you mentioned (at around 11:30 minutes into the video) that Greenland is covered in ice. However, it is IIceland that is mostly green(which is why it looks GREEN in this video! )
Unfortunatley in my they've started using the capsule hotel as rental apartments. They jacked up the price and people are actually renting them because rentals are so scarce.
The kid sleeping bed might be a great thing for children that have autism or have other mental health issues where they need a save space to calm down after experiencing a sensory overload situation. Then again, the vertical sleepong pod is just not very good for an office. Like, give people actual sleeping pods at least.
That New Zealand Air bunk-pod would've been pretty effin' wonderful when I flew to Australia from the mainland U.S., last year... 😯 Holy crap! Emirates First Class *cabins* ?! If I could afford that, I would never fly any other way! I'm not too keen on the capsule hotels, though -- I bet those are really noisy. And if you're on a bus or train long enough to want a seat that reclines into a bunk, then just take a plane. "Giraffe Nap"? Tell us your employer is a slaver without *actually saying* your employer considers you a slave. 🤨 Okay, the cliff capsules in Peru might be fun for a night or two, but *three weeks* ?! 😬 Teardrop campers are okay, for them that likes that sorta thing. If you're stuck in an airport long enough to want to use a "Napcab," then just go through customs and spend some time in town. That's so much better for your mental health. At least the Cozy Cabin forthrightly states that it's glamping crap. Hard pass. Does the ZPod have a way to lock the kids inside? Asking for a friend.... 😏 Sleepods look like plastic coffins.
**Iceland is not an ice land! **Pods for travel and such that would be okay but it better have more than one toilet for 56 people. **Hotel room without at least a shower and toilet makes no sense at all. **No public restrooms or showers!
@@andrewparnell5566 that was my understanding too, it was a matter of reverse psychology or propaganda, to keep from getting too many people settling on Iceland.
Must be nice to be rich & affford the majority of these offerings. I live in a developing country & sleeping on the job /any job is highly frowned upon!!
No I salute their existence concept in the environment when they are trying to do healthy activities with their offspring for their offspring, concept I do the salutes for them.
'Iceland' is not covered in ice. *Greenland* is covered in ice, because the early Vikings were big fat liars. 😂 Might want to rethink that joke, especially when your video has been constantly showing footage throughout the segment with absolutely no ice to be seen.
It’s so unpleasant to watch all this, it’s just terrible. The autistic society is the devil’s dream for people to become lonely. I’m even scared to think that I would have to live in this society.

It can be small, but only a fully horizontal sleep area works for me.

The Zen Float Tank is hardly anything new. We've had sensory deprivation tanks for ages.
I really enjoyed this video. The visuals and editing are top-notch

That suffocating feeling is terrifying. All of that darkness, rushing at you.
Probably not enough oxygen getting in!😮
Those capsules look cool

Totally awesome

Cool, the cab in airports I can see get a lot of reservations.

If I was a traveling businessman, I would take advantage of those airline sleeping capsules...
Just watching the video makes me claustrophobic

Two words: bedbugs and nits 😂
I'm not particularly big, so I would have an easier time in one of those than many people!

That standing sleep pod, yes, of course it's from Japan.
I think it's the developers of this cursed pod who need it to secure more sleep time.

2 are you actually autistic?
