    Hi there,
Thank you for choosing the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro for your trip to Mexico and for your continued support of DJI. Most detachable components naturally have gaps, but please be assured that the product's protective performance is verified through rigorous reliability and waterproof tests. As long as you cannot see the red warning area through the gap in the cover, the product's waterproof performance is assured.
Thank you for being a valued member of the DJI community. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

      Dji support Global,
Thanks for your comment. I understand that you guys have tested the port cover to ensure it's waterproofing. However, I was touching on the durability aspect. I don't want to buy a product and expect it to fail prematurely due to such a minor issue, which you guys aren't even admitting is an issue at this point.
Would a cover replacement fix the issue? Obviously, one door is secured slightly better than the other.
Quite frankly, I don't think returning the camera is the solution. is there a possibility to get the cover/door replaced?

@@Onthedriverseat Hi there, thank youf or the above response and we truly understand your concern. Regrettably, sending the device back is the only way to get the cover replaced.
      Thank you for your understanding.

@Onthedriverseat I treated my self to the osmo5...But I'm having a hard time downloading the app...I literally felt like breaking it. I don't know if I need a new phone. I want to know if I really need this DJI mimo app to make it work? I'm not a fancy guy I just want to point and record. That's all.

Hey Druguana, thanks for the comment!
I've never had trouble downloading the app, though it does lag sometimes. Try restarting your phone and check your internet connection - it's probably not your phone. Let me know if that helps.
Also, you don't *need* the app to transfer footage; just plug the Action 5 Pro into your computer with a USB-C cable or use an SD card adapter.
But the app *is* awesome for trimming, color grading, and adding filters before exporting.
Let me know how it goes, happy to help!
      Thanks

@Onthedriverseat I spent all day doing those things you mentioned...But thanks I'm not trying to edit or get any fancy with it..I'm going to plug and go now. Thanks for the output. I used to be a GoPro guy but not anymore DJI all the way now for me..once again thanks. Hopefully one day I'll post something online. Thank you my brother. Peace and blessings

Hey Druguana, Glad I could help! You'll be posting something awesome someday, I'm sure.
BTW, I got the GoPro 12, and it overheated after only 5 minutes of filming!
So I returned it and got the Ace Pro instead. It's pretty good, but it has some focusing issues. I'll review it soon.
      Thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback. Upon review, I realized that there is a minor issue, particularly noticeable in the rear window area, likely due to camera focus lag during movement.
      I appreciate your input.

By the way, this footage was shot using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.

Thanks for your comment, Understood, but what happens at the end of the second year? When they warranty expired?
I wanted to touch on the reliability aspect of such a pretty good camera.

@Onthedriverseat bro DJI offers 2yr replacement plans for $29. Up to 4 replacements within 2 years, $19 for each brand new replacement. That's a good deal.
