Thank you for this tutorial. I am a total beginner at Omnisphere and have been overwhelmed with the intro videos. Thank goodness I found yours and you have explained in clear ways and I feel like I can get started
Great video, well explained! Lots of cool features waiting to be discovered. The lock feature is one of my favs, along with stack mode, and many more, lol I'm surprised that a lot of Omnisphere users, pass up the innocent looking padlock without realizing how powerful it is. .Along with sound match, the sort function,is really cool, saves a lot of time, trying to wade through the vast Omnisphere library. I personally feel that it is essential to get to know how to find, sort and change up sounds first. Before anything else. Soundmatch is really great,I use it a lot for my ambient styles of music making.
Sonny Brasco glad the info was useful & we actually offer mastering services on our site! Feel free to message me with any questions! soundoracle.net/products/mastering
How do you keep auto play off, every time I open up Omnisphere it’s on, I open it up and have to turn it off and magnify the window every time is there a way to save like a template or something
yo I need major help with some of the patches that I want to use... I really like the sound of them but they sound out of pitch or tune... it doesn’t sound right when I play even a simple major scale. I have changed the Hzs to 432 and it still sounds weird. please respond!!!
Some of the patches have the coarse & fine parameters tuned to different cents. Just set those to zero & they should put it back to standard tuning. You’ll find those parameters on the A, B, C, & D tabs. Not all patches use all the tabs. The ones in use have a blue light under them. Those parameters are on the left side of screen under the pitch section.
I'll give you a tip if you have problems like me scrolling with the mouse wheel between presets: Click on the white space of the search and then return with the mouse pointer on the presets and the wheel will scroll. If anyone has a permanent solution in windows and Ableton tell me please
The lock feature is truly a gem.
Desmond Mason absolutely agree!
Fck yeah
that lock feature is going to save so much time on keeping CONSISTENCY in the sound and feel
💯
Set it as default inside your DAW
The learning curve is never ending...

REALISTIC PRODUCTIONS would that be the transpose slider where it’s -12 or +12?
@@scarlet5986 No, that would be the main page on Omnisphere. You want to go to tab A (and B, C, D... if those tabs are active as well.
REALISTIC PRODUCTIONS right, on each of those pages, the transpose tool above the tracking, fine, and coarse knob?
Scarlet try to keep the transpose at 0, 12, or -12.
Mann yo shit so quick, imma need a new computer cuz mine be strugglin 😂 *Edit a part 2 would be toasty! Lool
Hw many GB ram?

bruh you just saved the writers block
Is this 1 or 2? Sorry for my ignorance 🥴
It's Omnisphere 2.5
For once, the software is actually really useful
Comment
wait if omnisphere has 4000 sounds i want them all unique. sound match shouldn't exist.
hahsdhahah good
frigging ads!!!!!
nothing about actually using its capabilities for sound design, kinda pathetic came to find out how to do mid/side processing without using Imager
Then you should go fucking type that on Google you dork. There is nothing written about m/s processing in the title.
Woah, great video mate!
