Welcome back! I am glad to hear you are on the west coast and that the Desert Sled didn’t move on to another owner. Seattle outskirts have some of the best riding roads I know. Check out Mountain Loop Hwy, great paved road with a ton of forest service/old logging roads shooting off from it. You could go every weekend for 3 months and still not explore everything.
Hey dude 🤙🏻 Just wanted to give you a shout out and say I think you produce great content, It's hard to get a TH-cam channel going (I'm currently trying as well). You are one of the reasons I actually bought a desert sled. I bought one new in 2020. Freakn LOVED that bike. It had a catastrophic engine failure and I switched to a Triumph Street Triple. Still miss that bike. Anyways man keep up the good work!
Thanks for support bro! I hear you on that, this channel has more or less been a side hobby for about 5 years now.. but it's been really fun to see the channel grow over the years. Curious to hear about that engine failure! Sorry to hear about that, at least you've got the Triumph now
@@CatchHellMoto ya man it was wild. I'm super anal on maintenance and upkeep. I bought it new, I didn't drive it like a dick (I'm a married dad of 2 haha) and I was just rolling about 85mph and *boom* lost 50% power. It spontaneously just melted 2 pistons and heads. Oil was perfect, no warning lights, nothing. Just a freak thing. Took a while to repair so I made made a great deal on the new 2024 triumph street triple 765 RS. It's been a blast. I don't have loyalty to bikes, I love em all, dual sports, race bikes, cruisers all of em. But I really miss that sled. Anyhoo, if you're near Ft Worth TX area, let's go for a ride !
I had a cheap Facebook marketplace stand for the rear and a Woodcraft Front stand up front, woodcraft-cfm.com/products/adjustable-front-under-fork-stand
You've got a couple of terms mixed up. It's not a brake cylinder, it's a brake caliper (brakes do have master cylinders in a different area, but that's not what you were removing). Also you referred to a socket as a sprocket. I'm not trying to be a dick, I figured you'd want to know these things. Feel free to delete this lol
Glad to see the sled again.
So excited to be riding it again.
Love your content man. Glad your using this bike again. I just got mine and your old content is still relevant for what I need. Thank you
Glad to hear it! I'm happy about it too, its such a great bike

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm definitely going to have to check it out
not seeing any content on this bike for so long made me think you sold it, glad you didn't. looking forward to watching more stuff on the sled
Thanks bro! I don't think I could ever sell this bike haha, I love it way too much. Can't wait to put some more content out!

Hey Billy, you forgot to tell us the name of your TH-cam channel. I just picked up a desert sled as well, and I could use all the content as possible.

That is insane.. I just don't understand how that happens. But yea man for sure! I'll hit you up if I ever swing by
Good to see you back on the sled. Why such a long hiatus?
Just a lot of unexpected moves honestly. I thought it would be better to keep it stored until I got settled down again.
What was the part link at cycle gear for the stands you have?
