그간 발매된 범키와의 '행복하지마', 케이윌-휘성과의 '썸남썸녀', 긱스와의 '히히하헤호'를 통해 마마무의 다양한 색깔의 음색을 보이며 데뷔전 이미 많은 실력파 아티스트들에게 실력을 인증받은 바 있다. 마마무의 첫번째 미니앨범 "HELLO" 색깔은 전반적으로 평키와 힙합 어반 알앤비이며 펑키한 리듬위주인 타이틀곡 'Mr 애매모호'를 포함한 '썸남썸녀, BATON TOUCH', 어반알앤비곡 '행복하지마 , 히히하헤호' 그리고 멤버 중 화사가 직접 작사작곡한 힙합트랙 '내맘이야' 등 7곡으로 앨범의 전체적인 분위기가 레트로하면서도 흑인음악이 주를 이루고 있다. 타이틀곡 'Mr.애매모호'는 앞서 발표한 싱글에서 보여주지 않았던 마마무의 블루지하면서도 소울풀한 보컬을 들을 수 있으며 곡의 후반부에서는 파워풀한 가창력과 보컬그룹의 앙상블을 느낄수 있을 것이다. 애매모호하게 행동하는 남성에게 고하는 여성의 단도직입적인 메세지가 매력이며 요즘 가장 핫했던 '썸'과 '착해빠졌어'에서 김도훈과 호흡을 맞췄던 민연재와 긱스의 루이가 함께 참여해 더욱 눈길을 끌고있다.
이번 뮤직비디오 컨셉은 "뮤지션이 만드는 뮤지션" 이다.
씨엔블루의 이종현이 이번 뮤직비디오의 주인공 'Mr.애매모호'역할과 기타리스트 역을 맡았다.
그리고 휘성은 뮤직비디오 감독, 백지영은 선배로서의 조언자, 정준영은 연출부 스탭, 케이윌은 포토그래퍼, 라이머는 카메라감독, 범키는 코러스, 돈스파이크는 피아노연주 등 최고의 뮤지션들이 대거 출연하며 마마무를 위해 각자 주어진 역할에 맞게 연기를 함으로써 뜨거운 관심이 모아지고 있다. @Jessie Lim moonbyul created the choreo only for them first, after that all of them teach it back to the dancers. Plus other members might added some of their idea to reconstruct the choreo.

I've honestly never understood the visual thing or the Hwasa's body breaking estereotypes. Objectively speaking, their bodies could all belong in any other idol group, and half of their faces could as well. And if they can't is not because they're ugly, but because of the style or the strong personality.

I still remember how I discovered Mamamoo. Back then, my family subscribed to cable tv service profider in my country so i could watched some of S.Korean tv channels, one of them is Mnet.
So, I watched MCountdown and watched their debut stage. Like... that was their first ever live performance. And back then i thought they are not rookies. I thought they were underrated senior idol groups, especially because of their mature looks (that big hat on Hwasa still iconic). Later on, I found out that that was their very first debut stage.
Now, here i am. Not a moomoo, but a very proud of general listener. I love how they grow as a person and performer. With their talents and personalities, I believe they will stay in the industry for a long time.

The song was so good that the 4 members wanted to name themselves "Mamamoo"

@@alexmoore3812 Sure they do. but idk, there's something diff with mamamoo. as artists they hv more creative freedom so they can express themselves more in their music, hence them being able to try out every concept that exists out there=more music. it's a different feel when u listen to a song knowing ur fav group wrote and compose that. its different than just singing a song thats being handed to u. i also like the fact that they are older(?) in terms of age so their music are much more mature than the others. they dont look too manufactured as a kpop group so it's more refreshing to see. sorry for ranting lmao i just love these girls so much

I started watching kpop 3 years ago and I stan got7. TH-cam suggested me to watch Mamamoo and I'm not disappointed. I was really curious at first as I thought Hwasa looks very pretty, but she look different than other kpop idols. Boy!! After watching few videos I figured out what a badass she is😊❤ I am mesmerised by WheeIn's voice it is sooo beautiful 😍😍 Even though I don't stan Mamamoo so hard, I never miss a single video of them, if appeared in my TH-cam recommendations list. I honestly believe this group has the best vocals and the way their voices blend with each other is unmatched. They really don't have any bad song. They've been rocking since their debut ❤❤❤. Love you Solar, Hwasa, WheeIn and Moonbyul. Mamamoo is the best female kpop group ever ❤❤
