Sorry, it's RiRi hands down in the industry. Rihanna has a way of just connecting with the masses in a way that Beyonce could never. It's sort of like how people were/are drawn to Aaliyah for just being who she was. Neither Aaliyah or Rihanna needed to make claims on writing or creating to be recognized or celebrated. The public loves authenticity and something that is not over hyped or manufactured and Rihanna is able to give that, like Aaliyah did during her time alive in the industry. Think about how fans are still begging for unreleased music from both of these women (Aalyah and Rihanna) and are devastated when they still are not produced! Lastly, Rihanna broke into the industry on her own (Like Aaliyah) and didn't need a group to garner a name for herself. At this point in time, Rihanna has been and is a shrewd businesswoman and her success is a testament to her work ethic.

What determines the quality of an artist? Rihanna obviously enjoys doing a multitude of things that spark interest in her, that makes her a very interesting person and has evidently created a high level of success for her but when it specifically comes to performing arts there is no one like Beyonce. I see Rihanna as someone with a Masters degree across a few subjects and Beyonce as someone with a PhD in one.

Sorry, it's RiRi hands down in the industry. Rihanna has a way of just connecting with the masses in a way that Beyonce could never. It's sort of like how people were/are drawn to Aaliyah for just being who she was. Neither Aaliyah or Rihanna needed to make claims on writing or creating to be recognized or celebrated. The public loves authenticity and something that is not over hyped or manufactured and Rihanna is able to give that, like Aaliyah did during her time alive in the industry. Think about how fans are still begging for unreleased music from both of these women (Aalyah and Rihanna) and are devastated when they still are not produced! Lastly, Rihanna broke into the industry on her own (Like Aaliyah) and didn't need a group to garner a name for herself. At this point in time, Rihanna has been and is a shrewd businesswoman and her success is a testament to her work ethic.

There’s a difference between publicly feuding and being cordial and respectful towards each other in public and in a professional setting, while not liking each other in private. It’s kinda suspect to me that both Beyoncé and Rihanna were never really that close with each other, despite being apart of the same circle of people. Beyoncé has built stronger friendship with other artists like Adele, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran. Taylor Swift, ect… but not with Rihanna, despite knowing her longer? I think everything has to do with Jay-Z and the rumors of him and Rihanna hooking up behind Beyoncé’s back. It might be true since Jay-Z is a known cheater.

What determines the quality of an artist?
Rihanna obviously enjoys doing a multitude of things that spark interest in her, that makes her a very interesting person and has evidently created a high level of success for her but when it specifically comes to performing arts there is no one like Beyonce.

Rihanna has a personality she’s authentic. Beyoncé has lied time and time again about her input in her music writing and production. It’s pretty gross that she does that.. she has plagiarized a huge chunk of her visuals and her music isn’t even that great. There’s a reason why Rihanna has sold more albums than her and has more number #1 records. Beyoncé is a better dancer and has had great touring success but Rihanna is the better brand!!!
