You're both right for different reasons. Kruysen has the access to the champions and gear that allows a more flexible thoughtout bit of gameplay, because he's likely to go first in all his battles. He's the 0.1%, Drock is the 1%, so he definitely sees more of the issues with other people being faster in the speed meta. I personally don't like the speed meta at all, and I think one of the issues is theres too much increase accuracy buffs, and accuracy is already favoured over resistance. The game cannot be balanced around speed and accuracy, because resistance should counter accuracy, and that's just not the case. Mythicals just bypass 20% resist? Increase accuracy is an easy buff to get 50% more accuracy? That means you can with a mythical you can hit a 900 resist with 720 accuracy, with an increase acc buff, you can reach it with 480 accuracy. Thats crazy. A non-mythical would need around 800 accuracy, which feels a little more reasonable as that's a little harder to achieve, but add in that 50% increase accuracy buff and suddenly its 600 accuracy needed. We shouldn't be able to just say build X accuracy and land all your debuffs all of the time and right now we can, and you can do it with the grace of still going lightning speed. It's much harder to build a fast 900 resist champ than a fast 600 accuracy champ.

As a relatively new player (~15 months) that just reached G1 in LA, I like that there are now so many options and strategies from the perspective of champions and gear. My roster is NOT deep, so my options are limited, but it is still interesting to have to expand who I use in arena and NOT knowing how the other team is geared. Honestly, knowing the outcome of a battle before it even starts seems exceedingly boring. No idea why anyone would favor that kind of meta.
I totally agree that if polymorph didn't exist and you lose the speed battle, the outcome of 100 fights against the same opponent would have a unanimous outcome. It also changes up your strategy if you notice how much poly they pick.

it would be interesting to have some siege-style limits available for LA battles, or special tournaments with groups or fromats based on these restrictions. it would be fun to see top accounts use only epics, or only magic affinity, maybe a no-gear restriction. this would make it eminently more playable for less powerful or earlier game accounts
A wide range of meta champs makes champ knowledge more important I’m returning after a year break, got lots to learn. It isn’t very easy to build this many champions though I have decent gear but not enough to build 40 guys at their full potential
Very true. Champ knowledge more important than ever now and harder to stay on top of with so many champs in the game for sure. And yes gearing everyone is insanely difficult for sure!
sheep should be reduced into 1 turn and when you are off sheep, you start at zero turn meter and the life back to when you were sheeped so it wouldnt be so crazy. probably would increase 25% sheep for this case for 6*. it wouldnt be so maddening...but since plarium sold their raid game to a real company that does know how to run video games. hopefully they'll address the sheep thing better.

as pvp player who spend a lot less then both players and can talk for average player in gold 4 I enjoy this meta then last few ones but I have 10 champions or so. I can counter some speed teams like shu zen/Odin etc. armanz is crazy for while now and we need better counter to him. tormin is used a lot outside gold 4 as well. I would love do video with u talking about my experience from playing on silver 3 silver 4 and gold 4 as well
I just pulled Gnishak and I hope I have the gear to make him efficient for my level at least. Really wanted him because I lacked any good bomb champs and there he comes during the 1+1 🎉 Great talk! Though my goal is just to be good enough to farm those tokens to complete my great halls and get Marius. Not too big on arena otherwise.
The single disgusting and sickening thing in the arenas, common across most metals is sheep. The most disgusting thing is that many people actually are in favour.
Its the bane that if you dont use it now, you are weaker than your opponent... So you just have to pick it because the community as a whole will not boycott it.
Sheep is actually less common in this meta than it was before. Pinpoint changes that. Poly was actually a counter to a speed/debuff meta. This isn't saying poly was good but prior to pinpoint it was the counter to the current meta.

Make Polymorph happen after a skill / effect has been landed or used. Hundreds of times, a Shu-Zen will A3 but decrease speed on 1 opponent Champ, increase speed on one of mines & poly will hit. Or my Alaz will A2, it’ll hit 2 opponent Champs then sheep’d. Let the Champion land their skills before polymorph occurs. Letting Polymorph disrupt any skill & then its sequence of targetting is horrible gameplay
I am silver 4 in live arena almost g1. Now. Gold 2 in tag team and classic obviously g5 and can reach play if i want to. I think the meta is not terrible overall because many things work. I hate tarichka meta the most. That said i also dont like our meta coz i missed armanz due to vacation and i don't have very fast gear so if they ban my main speedster, the other one doesn't have as strong aura or not enough boost to make all my nukers go after them. So, if i ban their armanz because i dont have him they ban one of my speedster and i cannot ban theirs. My tormin doesnt work because believe it or not even there everyone has ss or pinpoint or both. The only things help me win are some weird team comps i get to confuse my enemies, cardinal, and my strong fenax (+4 max awakening in merciless).
Been trying sooooo hard trying to get into gold tag for a while now. I have over 400k tag arena gold coins. That I’ve been saving since I started playing the game. I want to use those coins to purchase sacreds and all things. Is tag arena something I need to wake up early on a Monday morning to do.
Plarium doesn’t understand what rebalancing truly means, only pure idiotic. Every rebalance patch be like buff few champions that you won’t use anyway and constant shards events for new OP champs.
Live your videos man, keep it, and yeah, lot of stuff need fixing in raid but least now since either eas bought off by an actually gaming company, maybe they'll be able to balance it better.
