    I think you forgot the small o rings on the pto brakes.

      I really appreciate you pointing that out, I can't believe I missed that 😬.
      Atleast nothing got filled with oil yet.

      @@AndyFromm I already had swapped those out before I tuned in, no worries! But I will be pulling my clutch packs back out to oil them... whoops.

      @@schm2918 I'm not sure if it would hurt it not oiling them if you take it easy testing it. They should get oil sitting in the tractor I'd think but It sure wouldn't hurt to oil them.

    👍👍...the 2nd to the last time I did it,it burnt up prematurely....had to find the correct,boss adapter for the port there...found that pressure was low ..end up trimming some off the top nut on the spool there to get more adjustment...raised the pressure... anyway.. good stuff man 👍

      Good thing you got it figured out, I'll keep that in mind when I check pressure.
      Thanks Elroy 👍

    Very nice video. I have two questions for you. What pressure should the pto clutch be set to if i replaced all the discs? Second, what happens if the input shaft gets pushed forward like mentioned in the video at 35:50?

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Online fourms say higher than the book at about 245 psi.
      If it gets pushed ahead, it breaks a cast bearing retainer in the bellhousing. I have a 806 video about that cause I did it.

    I soaked the disc in hyd oil. Worked the same...

      Didn't take the top link off.. that's a great idea!!

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Soaking them would be best.
      I didn't take off top link on my 806 and I busted the front bearing cap.
      Thanks Mr H

    i have to replace the 540 seal on my farmall 826, it seems like its not going to be an ''easy seal'' lol

    Can you take it apart and replace the 540 shaft without taking the whole clutch apart?

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think I've tried it.
      It may be possible but the spring brakes might put a lot of pressure on the case.
      Might be able to use some threaded rod, washers, & nuts to open it up.

  • @user-tk9ol6yt3v

    If I just want to change the 540 shaft can I just pull back cover?

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Starting at 13:00 or so, you'll see some clips on the shafts and bearings so I don't think it would work.
