Hey guys, Just I want to remind you something and hopefully this will be the last time though. I've noticed some of you guys had still asked me to film elevators and hotel tours in places that are beyond inconvenient for me and my family. Hopefully I am not rude to you and that you guys would hopefully understand this as well. If any of you guys request me to film in places that are literally out of state (i.e.: "can you film this in Tampa, FL" or "can you film a hotel room tour of this hotel please", etc.), I have no other choice but to (respectfully) deny your request for the following reasons: 1. It's way too far for me to travel all the way over to certain states and we do not have that kind of money to afford for that travel. 2. Even though I'd WANT to visit certain cities, my parents sadly have no interest in visiting at all unlike I do, so it'll likely not happen at all. 3. For hotel tours, I only do room tours when I'm a guest staying overnight, we have time, and that I'm not tired. I hope that clears stuff up for you. Please only request places that within either Houston or College Station, and make sure it is easy access and I do not get busted. With how things are, I am a very selective person on when it comes to filming in places, and travels MAINLY depend on my parents' interest and/or obligations. Additionally, please do not make more than one request. Request only one place every now and then. Not all the time. I have lots of life to focus on more than this. Thank you for your understanding! -Jim (JimLiElevators)
Those are some neat elevators!! I work at LGH in Pennsylvania and they are changing up the Ed and they put 2 sets of Otis Gen3s in. One going down to Ed waiting room from lobby and service elevators that go from B to 1!
Just like the 3300s, everybody is gonna fascinate over them and then these will eventually become common in 5 years, and it’s not gonna be as exciting to run into one
They are both the different fixture names. Dewhurst is pretty much of a halo type stainless steel elevator fixture that looks kind of like what you see on a DVD disc player, whereas for Adams mainly just use different variations such as white square or circle type or vandal resistant.
If I may add, a gen3 has also been found in Iowa. Either way it is amazing to see something that’s not common now, but these are going to be all over in the next few years and we all will be tired of them
Very nice elevator it reminds of a Schindler and Fujitec mixed with traditional Otis very different than Gen 2 for sure but otherwise still typical Otis nice! 😁
Forget the cab, this is still awesome tho. However, there're actually 2 variants of Gen3 MRL. Gen3 Peak (machine on top centre) and Gen3 Edge (machine on side). It would be best to use a flashlight to confirm such. Also, did you know the first Gen3s were actually introduced in China all the way back in 2021?

This is great 👍
Wow this is extremely nice!!
Great Gen3 and good chimes.
nice view from their top floor.
I like those new chimes!
What a nice find Jim! I'll definitely need to go out and film these at some point!
I believe I found Virginia’s first MRL Gen 3, these are very cool!
I'm definitely checking out the UH campus next time I'm there. I hope to ride the purple line out there.
I was in Galveston to film the new Home2 Suites/Tru by Hilton combo, and they have GEN3 installs!
Arizona has gotten a couple of Gen3s now, one of them at my childhood mall in Phoenix, AZ
There is also a Otis Gen3 at the Omni hotel in Frisco at PGA. The hotel opened last Tuesday.
Cool.
These are cool. I like those directional lanterns. I need to find a gen 3
I need to film these!

I don’t even think I’ve heard of Gen3 before. Now I’ve been on a couple Gen2’s before but still awesome find
VERY FRESHLY BRAND NEW ones!!
Just like the 3300s, everybody is gonna fascinate over them and then these will eventually become common in 5 years, and it’s not gonna be as exciting to run into one
That’s epic! I hope some Otis Gen3’s will make their way here in Columbus, Ohio! You should also check out some of the elevators I found recently!
Doubt it.
Is this direction lantern actually an LCD display?
Do you remember DUN HUANG parking garage elevator
The elevator work about 10 years ago when you are the little
Kid Voice
Hey Jim, I like seeing your elevator videos. I have some questions. what are dewhurst buttons? What are adams fixtures?
They are both the different fixture names. Dewhurst is pretty much of a halo type stainless steel elevator fixture that looks kind of like what you see on a DVD disc player, whereas for Adams mainly just use different variations such as white square or circle type or vandal resistant.

No, I did not realize that Gen3 was invented in that year.
@@JimLiElevators fixed, I meant 2021. And recently, they now introduced Gen3 in Korea.
That is a gem 3?!??! It so looks like a gen 2
This is indeed a Gen3 based on the LCD directional lanterns and based on watching other videos of this exact same kind.
Still not a fan of the whole LCD trend Otis has been following...
