thanks. that squier wasn't used on the actual recording; it was just the one i grabbed when making this video. i'm pretty sure i really used a 60's roadworn strat going through a 60s basssman amp, with a few pedals of course.
Lovespirals, why didn’t you just use the Road Worn? I own one, and it’s probably the best sounding and feeling guitar I own, right up there with my 2004 PRS McCarty model! Anyway, props to you and your beautiful bride. This video and song and album is gorgeous.
David Bruce I used the roadworn - with frailin vintage hot pickups - in the studio. I love that guitar so much that I didn’t want to risk taking out to the poppy fields. I kinda wish I had now as it would have looked great.
Happy Healthy Vegan, i’m surprised you change the pick ups in it, because they come with Texas specials, which are very spanky in my opinion. I have never heard of the pickups you’re talking about, I will have to look into them. By the way, I have some music up on Bandcamp as well. Not all of my stuff, but a little bit.
