@@MichaelBtheGameGenie I think you shouldn't be advocating for sales of illegal rom boxes on TH-cam. The unwanted attention it brings is not a good thing, but do what you do to get that slice off the top.
12tb is insane! Ive got a few of these drives, I couldnt get the Switch games to run right but it had so many games Id be set for the end of the world in my bunker with solar panels and laptop hookup!
Wonderful video as usual! Does this company or any company you know make an Apple Mac compatible version? Thanks for taking the question. Hello from Cleveland, Ohio!
Can you go in windows explorer and look at the folder structure and add more games, at least the ones you said it's missing? Is it locked or accessable? Thanks!
Hi. Can you please let me know if the games “Tatsunoko vs. CAPCOM (Wii)” and Street Fighter X Tekken (Xbox 360, PS Vita, PS3) are installed on that drive?
@MichaelBtheGameGenie But you can setup any emulator to be used with launchbox, so that would depend on which emulator you are using. I just think you should have stated which emulator was being used. Someone not familiar with launchox may just the wrong idea, use it and it not work the way you described in the video.
I like how Aliexpress carefully doesn't actually tell us what size the harddrive is.... they call it a 12T but I doubt its 12TB in size unless they are using a really offbrand Chinese hard drive. I do hope something like this is available for pinball tables since I really want to get a virtual machine. I will want one thats ready to go. (I dunno about the $8000 cost for the machine though).
Im new to this and recently purchased 12tb Kinhank...it was working great and then one day Im not sure what i did but it goes to a settings screen on boot and when I try to back out it stays on a black screen.
Also, this is my real name. I’m not sure why it switches to Dain Bramage when I’m on other chats. That is an alternate name. I assure you I am not Restalgia. But I’d like to see him come back!
Not interested in PC games on these modded hard drives !! Most gamers have a PC desktop and laptops !! They use Steam !! So why would we need PC games on these modded hard drives ??
I could agree unless the pc games included were old-ish licensed games that are no longer sold on digital storefronts. Otherwise I would rather have more games for the higher end consoles. All in all it's not a product for everyone.
Not an attack on just you but it’s kind of sad that a lot of the retro gaming channels of years ago, who swore about using real hardware and the whole nostalgia of it, are now pushing these emulation devices because companies send it to them for free. Nah, I tried some in the past , convenient yes, but it’s not the same at all.
How is it not the same? You are sitting in front of the TV, have a controller in your hand and are playing the exact same game you would be playing if you had a NES or Genesis in front of you. Plus it's a hell of alot cheaper to do it this way.
@@aaronroberts8601the guy is literally showing how you have to go into windows, so most of these aren’t in front of a tv. It’s not the same experience of having the console in front of you and holding the original controller where you actually put the game in, it’s all nostalgia based but that part of the experience . Not all emulation is perfect with picture or sound as well. Lastly , what’s even cheaper is just doing it yourself on pc if you want to spend no money . These TH-camrs change what they stood for in their channel to shill these products .
You realize not many people have time to install all of those emulators and ROMs at once right? Think with your brain and not your hands before typing something stupid.. not everyone wants to do all of that
@daymonharris8696 I did think with my brain. It's all freely available. Videos like this ruin it for the entire community due to unwanted attention. This stuff is bad. Think with your brain, not your ego.
@@ryancarnes7516 he tried so hard to be relevant but he just copies stuff other people have already said or he acts as a PR man for arcade 1up (until they stop giving him stuff, then he craps on them). I used to find him entertaining, but he's not a real arcade hobbyist, he just enjoys home games and the benefits he gets from the companies. If I'm wrong, prove it. But that's what most of us are seeing now.
While I appreciate you saying the inclusion of the modern games isn’t for you, I do disagree with you using your platform to publicize and link out to a product that includes flagrantly stolen/pirated new-ish games. The games industry has been absolutely decimated in the last two years by layoffs, game cancellations, and mergers and acquisitions. It’s hard enough for developers of major modern games to turn a profit without some grifter slapping it on a hard drive and selling it as his own. Emulating decades-old games is largely a victimless crime, but as a fan of yours going back years, I do think that openly promoting and linking out to this product makes you complicit in hurting a games industry that is already on the ropes. Please don’t platform a product that is so blatantly wrong.
I collect retro gaming consoles and games and I do think everyone should own the original hardware to play the games but some titles are up to $1000+ for a single game many titles are in the $100's at least... so collecting would require 6 jobs. Modern systems are ripping us off because when you we buy a game - we don't get a complete game - there are immediate updates which means in the future these games will not be playable unless a complete 'backup' is available to play it in full on the original hardware. So emulation is still important to preserve the gaming industry. I always want the original physical copy but eventually it will be digital only and we won't actually own any game.
I guess kinhank doesn't want anymore of my money. I bought the original hyper spin 12TB and this is third one to come out YET they still completely fail to hear our voice when it comes to the absolute absence of RPGs on systems higher than PS1. How can anyone NOT put final fantasy games and such in their selection for PS2 and PS3? If there are 650 plus PS2 games at least 10 to 20 percent MUST be RPGs. If everyone spoke with their wallet this crap wouldn't keep happening with these companies! How can they make 3 12tb hyper spin external hard drives and NEVER make the game selection BETTER? The answer is because of you consumers having no backbone and you keep buying these things when they aren't giving us bigger and better than the last!

Tatsunoko vs Capcom would be a big deal. That game never got a rerelease. Its stuck on Wii and arcade
Great video. I picked one up for my new son-in-law.
Great video !!
Tears of the Kingdom? Holy smokes, man! I agree you gotta leave some of that newer stuff off. Great review!
Great video, brother!

You are right but it uses a different emulator than Retrobat does so it works

Those gamesir controllers are nice. I have like 5 for different consoles
Thank you Michael B! Can you do an update with Sinden, please? Also no Pinball included?
I am curious about pinball also
House of the Dead is great using Steam !!
Does this have paperboy and cyberball and pinball games ? I'm looking for 80s arcade games
If you want lots of PS 2, 3, 4 -- you need way more TBs than this one !!
Will it work with mini pc n what is a good one that can play all, this
How are we going to know we are going to get the better 12TB modded hard drive ???
Would this work with ALU plugging pc in, could you map the buttons for that if so that would be awesome
59% off right now. Picked one up for 170$

Can you tell me is Sim City for the super Nintendo on this device?
Tenho a versão de 3TB e funciona perfeitamente melhor compra que fiz no ano! única coisa que precisei alterar foi a configuração do emulador Yuzu
Is this really 12TB and would be kind enough to find out by anyone what the drive inside is?
It's a used drives with hundreds of thousand of hours on it your not getting the drive new also they are loud and probably fail quick
Can this be played on a TV?
Does this have the classic computer games too? (Atari 8-bit, Amiga, etc.)?
Yes
Illegally, yes
These modded hard drives should not have any windows games !!
I’m curious if it plays SEGA Star Wars?
Sega Star Wars and Battle Pod are on here
