DAMN you aron Snyder. I finally had my mind made up on the reckoning as the pack for me over the nomad and EMR2. Now you come out with this, and yes...the improvements are very good! I think the water bladder pocket is a win, and adding the pals webbing would definitely be a plus too. What I like about the reckoning from watching the videos is this; it seems the water bladder is completely isolated from the main bag contents in the event it leaks or fails. You might get some water on you back, but then again..sleeping bag and contents within the reckoning would seem to stay dry if that happens. And side note: I got you use my sawtooth for Spring turkey hunting this year....love it! Had some rain and I could sit up comfortably and wait out the storm, cook a mountain house INSIDE the tent with no issues, etc. And yep...even was able to pee into the pee bottle inside my shelter and stay dry during the rain!! Win WIN
Looks like a great upgrade. Water bladder pocket is great add even if used for other items. Very interested in the gun carrier system you mentioned. Happen to have a timeline for release? Definitely on my new gear wish list!!!
This thing is exactly what I’ve been looking for. A meat hauler with a bladder pocket. I have a Timberline 2 that I bought several years ago. I think it runs the duplex frame as well? Can the nomad be swapped onto the frame of the timberline 2?

Can the cargo net or cargo panel be added to the center? I really like how batwing packs can be configured and expanded!
