I'm now thinking of building another zero. Loved my first one which was a 2010 model and glad to see the improvements to the chassis and general fit of the panels.
Very good - nice to see developments Wishlist: - 0:45 Double skinned/braced bonnet with hinge option - 1:09 Access to the top of the gearbox through the shelf - 3:21 Fluted/creased floors to stop flexing - 3:29 Mounts separate from the scuttle skin are excellent - but fusebox in that inaccessible location... not sure. Did you sort the diff mounting options? - some subframes for specific diff's would be fantastic, and look more polished, instead of the slice & 3x bolt from the top option. (Just one builders thoughts) Almost want to build another one :) All the best!
It looks good but I have to point out that the "roll bar" looks pretty useless. Those 38mm rear stays don't offer any support. They aren't attached to anything substantial. That's my biggest concern
Hi, We do not have a step by step build / assembly guide, but we supply a full selection of photographs, and pdf guide documents. Along with full technical support over the phone and you are also welcome to visit us and we can show you the Zero builds we have in the workshop where you can take photographs etc. Please let us know if you would like any more details.
Hi Paul, We are currently working on a new build manual that will be released later this year. If you would like to email us then we can send you over a guide to the build plan / order etc that will give you an idea of what to do. We look forward to hearing from you. www.greatbritishsportscars.co.uk
Hi, It is available in LHD, the louvered bonnet is only available on the standard model, not the GT model I am afraid. www.greatbritishsportscars.co.uk
I've been wanting a GBS zero for 10 years now. Glad to see they're still going strong. One day...

Hi! Do you also supply a guide on how to assemble the kit ?

Yup, I think I need to have one of these in my life. Out of curiosity, what is the widest wheel/tire combo you can run on the car?
Hi, on the standard Zero its 8” wheel 205/50 tyre and on the Zero GT it’s a 7” Wheel 195/50 tyre. www.greatbritishsportscars.co.uk
I understand you dont have a step by step build guide, but is there guidance on the order in which to complete the build?
