One of the most beautiful choral pieces written in the last couple of centuries. The arrangements of the voicing sounds like an ocean of sound, waves and waves swelling then crashing to a calm. It is even more powerful when you are fortunate to sing the piece in a choir. This performance is so moving. To be there at that moment must have allowed those in attendance to understand the meaning of spiritual Ectascy! Thank you for posting this!

L' univers s' élance : Il aurait fallu filmer le plafond . Aurions nous enfin vu la racine de Dieu? C' est plutôt grandiose .... Mais j' aime bien parfois les versions plus intimistes malgré la dimension surnaturelle d' un tel cantique .
