      Not sure what you mean by this - what type of government pension?

    Good video! Can you do a video on what is your best option between RRSP or TFSA.

    Pay less tax? I never buy anything without seeing if I can get it at auction or off of Kijiji. I go out of my way not to pay sales tax, the government just wastes my money. Julie Payette getting a full pension is proof.

      Yeah that's a good point, and especially a good reason to buy used cars instead of new.

      @@WealthAwesome Thank you for the great video. But you can still write your summary in your introduction. :)

    Bro your videos are always so informative. Tax videos don't get much attention, but I think they are valuable and people need to watch them! Another good video! 😀

    Only the TFSA and charitable donation stuff was really relevant for me, but then I'm just a single guy without a spouse or real estate. I don't think I make near enough to take advantage of equity donations to affect my bracket, but I'll have to keep it in mind for the future. Great video as always

    • @WealthAwesome
      @WealthAwesome  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Kyle, I wanted to switch it up a bit and hit on a bunch of different scenarios. Focus on the TFSA and RRSP when you're single!

    • @WealthAwesome
      @WealthAwesome  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, yes he can have his own RRSP, but he still has the same limit (combined between the two RRSPs)

    Does your tax filing change if you live in outside of Canada?

    • @WealthAwesome

      Depends on what your residency status is. You can change it if you want

    At this rate I hate the act of actually doing my taxes more than I hate that its taking my money.
    I'd pay money to get them done for me if it weren't for the fact that the cost to have your taxes done for you makes me wanna cry when I look at the sum total amount of money I'll be losing when I add the amount I pay in taxes to the amount I pay to have them done for me.

    • @WealthAwesome
