I work at a daycare where we go on walks to the library every week, since we live in a smaller farm town we have plenty of semis drive through town. The kids favorite part of the walks are counting how many times we can get the trucks to honk their horns for us when we pump our arms. Knowing it makes the truck drivers as happy as the kids makes me really smile. 🥰
15:43 okay wait a min When I was in elementary school, I thought of the same thing. I would squeeze his hand 3 times meaning I love you, and walk into school. I remember I would always go into school feeling loved while talking with my friends. This went on every day, and I still do it. You’re never too old to love your parents.
5:37 I actually got to meet Dav Pilkey when I was in 3rd grade, he came out to our school to talk about how we should always use our weaknesses as our strengths.
Okay, my mom's dog is a little fluff ball but he's tall, so every time she's at work he sometimes likes lays on the ground or looks out of the window waiting for her, but right now.. he's laying on my lap

Small things made me feel happy

She got many kids without a lot of parental support, so you can imagine the nightmare of Zoom. These 2nd graders hardly knew how to work on Google Classroom, yet alone work in Zoom. My mom was very supportive, and broke down crying when a parent criticized her for “Not being supportive enough.”. Like bitch how you gonna tell my mom that she isn’t supportive enough. She’s the best teacher ever, she’s laughed, cried, gotten frustrated, and forgiven her students. She treats them like her own kids. Teachers like my mom definitely deserve to get payed more money, and get much more praise for what they do.

I never knew that my favorite childhood author, Dav Pilkey, has the same disorder as me. That just made my day, knowing that someone like me with ADHD can be so successful.
I’m young and with the truckers I was taught to do the arm pump and every time they do it while I’m on the school bus for a field trip it always makes my day so people should start doing it again
The arm pump for the truckers story just reminds me of my nephew that we taught that to He got so excited when he did it and a trucker actually honked their horn for him while passing and it was so adorable because he was only about 2-3 years old at the time
I was on a road trip and i passed by a lot of truck drivers and did the arm pump, seeing the smiles on their faces made my day, and probably theirs too, i was about 13 at the time.
Im hoping this would make someone's day who has the same issues hopefully. I'm at work rn (listening to this video actually) and texting my soon to be girlfriend. She's schizoaffective and has some bad delusions and such, but I've helped her with a few of them and have tried my best to support her. Just after a little bit of talking, she tells me she had a tic where she squeals and clenches fists and covers her face with them. I asked her more about them and she said that it happens when she's so happy it over stimulates her and told me that I caused it. Now im crying from knowing I made her feel that happy, after she's been "graped" (so nothing happens to the video) and dumped while in the hospital after a "self kill" incident. Really feel like she's the greatest Update: she also just told me her ex started talking to her and blocked her after she was talking about how great I was 😂
the trucking arm pump thing-- my school(which has kids from age 3-14) has a walkathon where we just walk laps around the school for a few hours. a lot of trucks come out of the warehouses near by, and a lot of normal cars drive by too- my class always does the arm-pump or pretend to honk a horn and teach it to the younger classes. every few minutes we hear a horn and then the loudest cheering from the kids. i graduate next year and it hurts my heart that me and my friends started this tradition 9 years ago and that it will live on by the pure joy of teaching other kids how to get a trucker to honk a horn.
I'm not an emotional person, in fact I rarely ever cry - but this video is one of the few things that can make me all emotional over such sweet stuff. I honestly wish everyone was like the people in the video.
My mom got a teddybear when she was about 2 or 3. Now here I am. 30 years later, he is still here and I love my teddybear. Thanks for listening Richie🖤

holy cow i never see msm-tubers but since i joined the community they are everywhere lol
I’ve literally grown up with that lime cat picture in the thumbnail.

When I was in elementary school, I thought of the same thing.

14:02 I had a bus driver and she was the nicest people I've ever met, most of the buses I've been on we were not allowed to have food in the bus but this bus driver never agreed to the rule so she allowed us to eat whatever we want if we would clean up the mess afterwards. Small things made me feel happy
Ah yes the arm pump. I remember going on a field trip and EVERY SINGLE CHILD IN MY GRADE did the honk.

i had a really hard time getting started this morning and my day didn't improve much (a little, but not much - still tired, mentally and physically, i'm feeling anxious, etc). i've been bingeing you guys's readings of r/mademesmile and i cried on multiple occasions bc of how wholesome it is.
i have a hard time focusing bc of my adhd so reddit reading videos work better for me than reddit itself most of the time. it's almost time for me to go to bed and try again tomorrow, and after watching all these adorable, wholesome and uplifting videos, i feel like i can take on the world. and i can definitely take on tomorrow.
thank you :)
Hey, this is wonderful news!! You're doing great dude, keep it up. I can't imagine how you get through all that! Well done, I'm proud of you. Have an awesome day ❤️❤️❤️

when i got one of my dogs my granma took me with her to the breeder's place. i had the puppy in my lap and both its parents flanked me and stared me down. they layed their heads on my lap with the pup. breeder said they never did that for anyone, said puppy was one of the best dogs i ever owned.

22:37 My mom is a second grade teacher, and we live in a place where kids dont have the most parental support.
WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT 2:46 this dog is the cutest thing ever

I’m young and with the truckers I was taught to do the arm pump and every time they do it while I’m on the school bus for a field trip it always makes my day so people should start doing it again
The arm pump for the truckers story just reminds me of my nephew that we taught that to
He got so excited when he did it and a trucker actually honked their horn for him while passing and it was so adorable because he was only about 2-3 years old at the time

Do you know the saying “good die young”?
Really feel like she's the greatest
Update: she also just told me her ex started talking to her and blocked her after she was talking about how great I was 😂
Lol good for you!

the trucking arm pump thing-- my school(which has kids from age 3-14) has a walkathon where we just walk laps around the school for a few hours. a lot of trucks come out of the warehouses near by, and a lot of normal cars drive by too- my class always does the arm-pump or pretend to honk a horn and teach it to the younger classes. every few minutes we hear a horn and then the loudest cheering from the kids. i graduate next year and it hurts my heart that me and my friends started this tradition 9 years ago and that it will live on by the pure joy of teaching other kids how to get a trucker to honk a horn.
