thank you for watching. it was a nice trip but unlike the last time i went which was 3 years ago, most of the fish caught were really small n 3 years ago the fish size were all easily over legal.
well i mostly thought it was the weather: this year's weather was being strange n maybe that was affecting the fish's behavior. yea the gurnard was a great bonus n i was so happy to catch it around the sandy area
Got to love the Manukau harbour and all the different species. I had a few good days fishing from a boat on the harbour 2 weeks ago catching good snapper in 3m of water over the scallop beds just as the sun was coming up.
yea the species list is amazing in the manukau harbour. saw ur kingfish tutorial n that was pretty awesome. that trip however was a bit slow but we still had fun out on the water
We went this weekend twice to do fishing at viduct basin. Near cylo park. In City center Auckland. Everyone was caught fish. We spent two whole days. But we didn't catch any. Why is that. Please suggest.
it happens and this is the same thing for me: some days other people get fish and some day one person gets all the fish while no one gets anything. i would suggest to change your rig styles or hook size and bait if nothing is working out for you
That was nice Peter ! Perhaps I could go boat fishing in Manukau if I could find charter boats. I used to go to Kaipara but it's quite far. Thanks & keep posting....
i would still recommend u to keep trying those places: try fishing in a overcast day n that usually brings in the bigger fish. many people had a lot of success around the tamiki drive area
Nice.😆
Thank you! Cheers!
Hey dude, did you not make a video of hohora?
i did its coming out in a few days
Basic_Fishing I’ll keep an eye out for it
I like the talking instead of just music. Good video

Looks like a nice trip and a good feed. Looking forward to see you catch some more decent fish in part 2

Which size hook do you recommend for snapper and kahawai
recurve hooks 4/0 is the best

Which place do you recommended for biggners as we always go to tamaki drive and cylo park viaduct basin but never catch any.

Basic_Fishing what does mean by overcast day ?
wen there isn't much sun
There are so so so many small snapper in Manukau Harbour... Almost released couple of dozens within one early morning...
yea with the small snapper, it can make fishing a bit difficult especially wen they get to the bait first
You should try livebaiting for kingies
one day haha lol
Sorry I thought this was a cattle wrangling channel
lol XD
