What a great guy. When Tom and the interviewer were talking at the start he turned to Riz and explained so he wont feel left out.

Ken Lopez Well you can think of it this way, this may not seem like the best type of film for Venom or Tom, but it is the film that needed Tom to make Venom shine, and get some much needed attention to the character.
Especially with people saying that Tom was the best thing about the film, he was the one thing it truly needed, and now both him and Venom are even more beloved and known, with Tom also talking to fans about how he can make the sequel better than this first film. I think it will have a better turn out, after everything..

I think it's because the interviewer was ignoring him and paying more attention to Tom. I've seen him in many interviews, he comes across as sensitive, empathetic, funny and witty. The interviewer failed to get the best out of him. He looks sidelined in the interview
