It's probably the most thought out season. The way it starts with many mysteries and questions which come full circle at the end like Suraj said. That shows how great the writing of this season is and how much control the writers had on this season. Amazing!

I LOVE the dynamic when all 3 Nikki, Rana, and Suraj are together. 1st of all its great seeing Nikki and Rana react to the show, that's why I'm here BUT having Suraj there having seen the show basically reacting to their reactions is AWESOME. Just sitting there with that smile...I LOVE it!!!
For me season 4 is the best written season of the show and probably one of the (if not the) best written season ever. However my favorite still remains season 5 which is the most revealing season of all of them which is the most important thing for a show like LOST.
I love Season 5, it always bums me out how most people seem to dislike it. There are big problems but still the strongest parts of Season 5 are among the strongest parts of the show. 4 is probably my favorite overall. I really don't like Season 6 though, and I am completely fine with the ending itself. But several things during the season itself really hurt my enjoyment of it. Too early to get into that though.

Best entrance in S4 and S5. I love this season. Jack is so obsessed with getting everyone off the island. But is wrong about everything. He just wants to be a better father, help more people, and love someone better than his father did for his family. Despite Hurley saying they never should of left I feel Jack needs to see what is waiting for him off island.
I Lost count how many times I wanted to punch Jack in the face for being so stubborn and annoying. Spoiler: In season 5 when Sawyer tells Jack, when he was running things he just reacted without thinking and got a lot of people killed. That felt really good and he was absolutely right.
And the irony of life showed Sawyer later in S6 that it wasnt very fair of him blaming Jack, when... (SPOILER) Sun, Jin and Sayid died in the submarine. Sawyer's guilt also felt good, even though I know it wasnt his fault, but Jack's either in previous deaths. The consequences of their decisions led to those deaths but still they didnt mean to and it wasnt their fault. It was always easy to put the blame on Jack because he was the one making decisions, but everybody made mistakes. Yes, Jack was annoying sometimes, but again everybody had their flaws that annoyed me at some point in the series (probably except Hurley). Still dont get why so much hate on Jack. He was a great character, so complex. He was lost inside, broken, wanted to fix things because he couldnt fix himself.
Dude apart from the fact i love these Lost reactions, yess for Nikki watching GoT. Like hell yess, that would be fun. Look at me getting all excited for GoT despite the fact the ending made me cry..... in a bad way.
The story was still good. Problem was dialogue and shortened seasons. The last season shouldve been at least 10 to 12 eps to cover what they wanted to do. Still, the journey is well worth watching.

The writers of Lost originally only wanted it to last 4 seasons, but ABC wanted a longer deal, so the writers made a deal with ABC that they'd do 6 seasons but seasons 4-6 would all be shorter than seasons 1-3. And for me personally while I enjoy the story we got, I've always wanted to see or read what the 4 seasons version of Lost would have been? Because I know for instance Mr Eko was susposed to go 4 seasons and be a major character in the story, and I'm assuming whenever they made the deal to do 6 is when the actor for Eko wanted out.
Nikki: The best description for GoT is this: It has the fantasy settings/creatures like LotR, the medieval warfare style of "Excalibur"/"Kingdom of Heaven", and the drama styling of a Shakespeare play all rolled into one.
