A tip for the crankshaft, you can always use some old spark plug boots on the studs of the connecting rods before you lower the crankshaft. That way if there’s any sudden movement or slippage that the studs have less of a chance to ruin the crankshaft journals.

Definitely will! We were offered a complete 1.6 engine from a friend of mine, so we’ll probably go fully forged then standalone, ITB’s and a turbo.
