Did you try Xilonen+Kachina+Gorou+Mona on Prototype Amber for heal if needed for Harbinger Xilonen? Also point out that Kachina C4 also have DEF buff :)
When you showed mono geo, I wondered if yunjin would work in place of chiori (since I don't have another 5* geo besides xilonen and zhongli). But then you said yunjin is not as good, so I guess I have my answer. Too bad, I may play Yelan then probably after I finish building her as a support and can get more resources to xilonen's normals.
Even if Gorou isn't C6, you should still use him(especially C4). Gorou has always been good, it's just the game has other 4 stars that suck pre C6 and we kinda lump em together. But he still has great buffs for geo pre C6, and with the new artifact set on him+Fav bow(heroes set) he's even better.
Got her sig. Obviously for the great team buff. Won't build her for dmg, but will certainly be on lookout for def pieces. One more stat/set to look for, we love that.

@@LunalighteI don’t blame you: my constellation 6 Noelle’s artifacts are some of the best on my account but still easily outperformed by C0 Alhaitham on a 2+2 piece artifact set, even in multi target battles where Noelle is strongest. The 4 stars have 20% less damage numbers or worse so expect to carry them with 5 star weapons or so much artifact farming you could have also built two limited 5 stars to the same DPS.
How do you manage to get the kachina cristallize? I'm using yae miko as my 4th sloth. Also I don't really know if I should be using a dps weapon like homa or fav on kachina (she's C1 sadly)
wdym? just using her kit should give her Crystallize. On Kachina going for Fav might be a better idea if your team needs energy, her damage is a bit underwhelming but if energy is a non issue you could go full damage, it would require investing in Talent levels as well however.
Hi and thanks! Furina/Xianyun is pretty strong together but technically any Crystallizable element could work in Furina's spot. Ideally Yelan could function in a very similar way by buffing Xilonen and enabling Kachina's Scrolls. Performing the N0 or N1 Plunge combos I showcased would make her Burst activate quite often. Otherwise you could use any off-field damage dealer or replace Kachina as well and go for a Mono Geo + Xianyun team.
I'm just curious about her damage since I got a good 4pc Obsidian set while farming for Kachina, lol. Unfortunately, I don't have C6 Gorou or Xianyun, so there's only so much comps I can try out with her. Still fun af to play, though.
If you want to still try something you could go Kachina + 1 Geo/Anemo + 1 Crystallizable element and still get some decent result! Maybe something like Furina Jean?
I was looking at quite different calculations. C2R1 Xilo Gorou YJ Rosaria 4N4Q is 89% the damage of C2 Xianyun 7hP. With C0 Vs C0, The Yun Jin team is now 22% better than plunge. Did I make a mistake here? It's 4000 DEF Yun Jin with the new craftable. Achieving that damage without 2 5* supports, makes it look very strong
plunge is very clunky to play, considering she only can plung 6 times if you play good, otherwise 4-5 plunge. furina-gorou-kachina is my best confort team. putting out c6 gorou and change furina to yelan might work, but xilonen isn't deal much more than with c6 gorou. had to admit, kachina also isn't very replacable, unless we have another geo natlan which i highly doubt can deal off-field. unless unless, mavuika is a gamechanger.
You mention Marechausse hunter being "better" on Xilonen Xianyun Furina, but how exactly is it better? The 2pc does NOT affect plunge dmg and you get 36% crit rate instead of 40% provided by Obisdian Codex. So Marechausse should by all means be worse than Obsidian. Unless you just meant that your pieces were better but the phrasing there was odd.
I phrased it very poorly there, I indeed meant to say that my personal artifacts are better! Obsidian is a straight upgrade over Marechaussee like you said.
Yes technically but it's really bad in terms of combat/Abyss. Xianyun is not only good because she enables Plunge Attacks but also because she heavily buffs them.
I feel like I'm losing my mind. Even though I've read her talents many times, my Xilonen only attacks twice before her nightsoul state vanishes. In those two hits she accumulates a lot of points, they reach a max amount and then she immediatly drops out of her roller skates mode. She doesn't last 9 seconds, nothing, just stops Any idea what's happening? I want to use her as a dps so bad. I feel like she's triggering a support reaction instead but even when I used Xilonen, Itto, Chiori, Furina, she would still do that.
Err only explanation I can think of is that you are using Support Xilonen. You have 2 or more Pyro, Hydro, Electro or Cryo in the team. It should not happen in triple Geo teams.
as for why people are trying to use her as a main dps over just another broken ass support (which she still is, and especially is after c2, its one of the most broken/cost effective cons in the game tbh) is her animations are unique and she's just...so fun to play. and you can NEVER underestimate gacha players wanting their waifu of choice to be a main dps. xD

Why people want Xilonen as DPS? Because she have a kit that can met that condition even is not that amazing, imagine Nilou haved a kit if her team was not only hydro/dendro and enable better her E NA NA? Or Chevruse haved better DPS if the team was not only electro and pyro? Hoyo is learning to make conditional kits better, not just butcher half of her kit if the teams have not the ideal elements.

I agree! Just pointing out that with the tricks I showcased it's possible to reach up to 8 Plunges per Skill fairly consistently.

Sure, she's Skill-N2-gone in combat, but with mobility like that she's always going to be in the active party 😆.
