Oh man, this is nuts. I'm something of an aspiring artist you could say. I'd rather call myself a hobbyist, as I'm not confident in calling myself that title. Sun Wukong (LMK ver) i̶s̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶l̶a̶t̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶f̶i̶x̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶s̶l̶a̶s̶h̶ ̶m̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶l̶o̶l̶ has jumpstarted me into drawing again after a year or so of.. not feeling like I could draw so well. I find that I actually can do a decent drawing if I sit down and clean the lineart and colour it in my art program. I just wanted to say that watching this speedpaint was very cool, I get to reaffirm the ways shading can work, just very very _very_ recently learned how to do so courtesy of my younger sister. Alongside the ways you do cloth folds, and etc. I like how you drew his "cloth-wings" that are tied to his waist! I have a bit of trouble trying to decide if I want to make it "limp" and follow his body structure or not sometimes, hahaha. And also wow that thing you did with the background blew me away. I got no idea how you achieved that. I'll be asking my younger sister (who is very well-versed in digital arts out of us two) to try and break this video down for me. 😂 P.S Sun Wukong appreciation comment. He's very handsome boy.
