    I really appreciate that you’ve kept this video up on your channel. With your video, I’m able to watch it over and over again, since I have memory problems. And thank you so much for your slower approach to teaching. 🙏🏻🙏🏻😀

      Any idea on the link where Kelly shows what she does with all the different shapes she made? She mentioned that in each of these videos, but I can't find them anywhere. Thanks for your time, 'preciate it!

    I wish I had seen and learned this method instead of spending six hours of the line twisting and turning over, backing mistakes out until the line until it was so frayed I had to cut it off and start over. I just couldn't get it right. But with this I could have. Anyone who has not yet learned peyote should learn it right here.

    Kelly, I did this in green and I put three red beads grouped together in a triangle shape equally spaced on one side. It made a wonderful Christmas wreath. I used 11"s for the three red and delicas and 15"s for the green. You make it so easy to follow you . I always learn something new from you. Thank you!

    Hello Kelly, I am working on this circle because I have a triangle so far...then I thought I needed a bigger circle because I need it to go around the triangle. So far so good, but when adding the second side of delicas my circle has gone wonky and very tight. I am hoping that maybe I need to add another row or two of 15 because the circle is so big? I'm trying to make the AA symbol because I celebrated my 25th sober birthday....hope you can help.

    Okay the circle I made was to big. So now I'm working a small one. Can you tell me what brand of beads your using because your 15 look as big as your 11's. Perhaps I need to use the same brand of beads? Please reply.

    • @remya4000
      @remya4000 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      She is using to go 15s and delicas. I tried with miyuki 15s and had the same issue. Never comes in correct shape. Miyuki 15s are way too small

    • @remya4000

      I mean Toho 15s

    • @marycheney8313
      @marycheney8313 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gotta use ALL Miyuki's. The 15/0's, the Delicas and the 11/0's - ALL Miyuki. Oh, and a pair of beading glasses 'cuz I kept messing up on those tiny 15/0's! Easy to skip a bead when peyoting the 11/0's into them.

    Why does the pattern work across for each sides? Couldnt it be made with adding the second delica on the same side then go across the other side, do the same after cross over repeat then finish?

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The reason you work from side to side is to keep even tension throughout the piece. This gives a consist and firm ring. If you do one side and work to the other you won't have the same tension and your piece can end up floppier and not as stiff.

      Delica seed beads come in 8, 10, 11 and 15. The most commonly used is 11, which I believe is what this pattern calls for. Maybe you were using size 15 delica's? I don't have any of those but maybe that is what's throwing off your circle?

  • @heathervona7883

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong....I followed your directions and my circle is so tight I can't fit my 2nd row of delica's in between the 15/0's...I tried putting my first circle around the same type of tube you used, but I had a huge gap (at least 3 beads wide) between the beads, so I used a smaller tube....Please help!!!!!!

    • @marycheney8313
      @marycheney8313 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bead a relatively loose circle when completing the 15/0's so there's room when adding in the Delica's. And make sure ALL your beads are Miyuki, no Toho or other Japanese bead.
