Fully customisable to your cat's neck circumference.
General guide to cat neck sizes:
• Small: 19-22cm - small, fine and hairless breeds e.g. Burmese, Siamese, Abyssinian, Balinese, Cornish and Devon Rex, Singapura etc.
• Medium: 23-28cm - for average-sized cats e.g. European, Domestic Shorthair, Tabbies, Scottish Fold, Persian, Manx, Bengal etc.
• Large: 29-33cm for bigger cats and larger or long-haired breeds e.g. Maine Coon, British Shorthair, Ragdoll, Savannah, Siberian, orange Tabbies etc.
**IMPORTANT: These collars are intended to be practical, stylish and fun for you and your cat. For their safety, please supervise your cat at all times while they are wearing this collar or any other item that secures around the neck that does not feature a safety breakaway clasp. Never lead a cat on a leash that is attached to a collar. When on leash, a cat should always wear a harness that distributes weight and force away from the neck. **

Thank you for all the helpful info about the safety release clasp. Beautiful yarn color. Love the side-loop stitch that creates perfect/beautiful edge too. ❤️
You're welcome! I like those edges too. 🤗
Tks for sharing this project with us 😊
Outdoor or indoor doesn’t matter, you need to use a breakaway buckle.
We certainly agree, Lizabeth! Thanks for your comment. 🤗
Thank you so much, I love your explanation and the result ❤️
Thank you! 🤗
Thanks for sharing this tutorial 😘😘
Hi and you're welcome! Thanks for watching. 🥰
What a wonderful tutorial ! Thank you so much ! Just finished it and it's so cute ! 😍🤗
Hi Yelena! You're very welcome. So glad you liked it. 🥰
So CUTE
Hi and thank you! 🥰
Thank you, I followed your tutorial to complete my first ever crochet project.
It took me 4-5 attempts of the first 7 rows (having never done anything other than a chain) but after plenty of pausing and rewatching I made a very handsome collar for a very handsome little boy.
You were very clear and helpful in your instructions and I cannot recommend you highly enough. Thank you again!
Do you plan on making any tutorials for cat toys (for example mice, birds, fish or balls)?
Hi Shara! Congratulations on your patience and perseverance to create your first crochet project. Bravo! Please send photos if you have time. I would love to see them. I have one cat toy - The Twine 'n Cork Cat Toy - on my channel and yes, I definitely plan to add more. Stay tuned! Thanks so much for being here. 🥰
I haven’t watched the full tutorial yet, but is the tutorial for beginners? Because I’m thinking of crocheting a new collar for my cat, but I’m worried that it’ll be complicated.
Hi! Is there any way to make it adjustable? My cat is on a diet. Going outside and running around might help her. When she loses weight though, the collar may become looser on her, so having an adjustable collar is good
This is gorgeous! Do you have the pattern you would share? I’m fostering kittens and would love to make collars for them. Also, how could I make this adjustable?
Hi Marie! I'm sorry but for now I don't have a written pattern but hopefully the video instructions help you out. This model isn't adjustable unfortunately. I haven't quite worked out how to make an adjustable model but it's on my to do list. Good luck with the fostering! 🤗
Hi. I'm from Philippines, I was just scrolling on youtube when I saw your vlog. And it's very interesting, i really want to try what you did on this video. If you don't mind may I know what's size of safety release clasp did you used? Please! I'm a cat & dog lover, and I want to do a necklace tag for our pets. Thank you and God bless.
Hi Irene! You can make it to any length you want but the width will depend on the size of the clasp you have, the yarn you use and the size hook you use. My ones are about 1cm wide. Hope that helps! 🤗
@@CatventurousCrochet Noted. Thankyou for your responds. ☺💕
@Irene Capuchino Hello ate ano pong alternative na ginamit mong yarn pra sa collar mo?? Ska pde poba ikabit ung lock ng leash dun sa may ID tag?? Thankyou
Is there anyway to make this adjustable?
Hello i watched one of ur videos that you make leash can i ask where do you put the leash in the this collar?? Can i insert it instead of ID ring??
Hi and thanks for being here! This collar isn't made for a leash for a cat. Check out our Semla H harness for an example of a harness for a cat where a leash can be attached at the back. Hope that helps! 🤗
This is so cute but my cats hates collars 😕
Hi Julia. Thanks so much for being here! 😊
Where do you get the safety clasp?
Hi Luke! They're not super easy to find but I would try Amazon or Etsy. Hope that helps! Thanks for being here. ☺
I just ripped apart one of my cats old collars that was destroyed and used the safety clasp
Um put a safty clip because then its hard for the cat escape
Yes, we recommend using a specific safety release clasp. Thanks for mentioning it! 🤗
