Enjoyed both Robbie and Kenjac, Richard was a great addition, but my favorite part was the layout of the video. Loved the 4 boxes surrounding the middle box. Great job editing team
Couldn't agree more! Hopefully they do a movie themed draft semi-regularly with this group. Maybe swap out Robbie if it's not in his wheelhouse. Richard really seemed to enjoy it. No talking down to anyone. Remembering all of their names. I always wonder how a celeb will handle being stuck with some bloggers for 2 straight hours. Great stuff.
Having never heard of Richard he was a great addition. Especially since the cast of non-barstool draftees is so thin I was skeptical but he really gave that expert presence. A good balance to the fanboy-relatable perspective that Kenjac and Robbie lean towards
The Strangers is one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen first time around. People in the theater were going nuts. Hopefully it’s drafted high today!
Idk I thought it was the scariest movie ever when I was a kid and as an adult I thought it was kinda dumb and I can’t say that about most of these other movies
Sinister is without a doubt the scariest movie I've ever seen. Had a feeling it wasn't going to be picked, but it is very intense. The storyline is great too. Also Bughuul might be the most terrifying character ever created.
@@fromtexas2734 I thought the sequel was ok. Definitely not as good as the first one, but still some very horrifying scenes. Definitely had my heart racing when I first watched it lol
28 days later not on this list was surprising. The score alone was worthy of 4th/5th round. House of a 1000 corpses was another good one that was missed.
Great Draft...The Strangers is honestly one of the scariest of movies I've seen as an adult...the Momma Tried scene still gives me chills every time when I see it
Eddie brought it up as an honorable mention but I was surprised it wasn’t picked . I should note I am not a horror or scary movie watcher. The one movie that came to mind was Paranormal Activity. One of the few movies where the hype was so high as a middle schooler I had to see it. Spawned a lot of sequels. Seems like one of the bigger scary movie franchises since I’ve been alive. Thoughts?
i havent heard the poem recited in haunting in Connecticut since i was in first grade and started reciting it the second they started saying it at the theater. weirdest feeling ive ever had in my life.
Robbie nailed his 1st pick but failed to touch on some very important factors Scream is iconic because it captured perfectly an essence that every other slasher film failed to grasp. Killing with a purpose but seemingly random where the killer is in plain sight. A true horror film where the kills aren't over the top, and the gore is captured in the emotions of the victim rather than the blood and guts Drew Barrymore death so brutal and seemingly so pointless to the plot highlights the taste of blood for Ghostface The entire opening scene is amateur and sloppy, and you can see Ghostface nervously satisfying his urge to kill as he hesitates and shakingly knifes Barrymore It's from that moment forward do you see Ghostface mature and evolve into a truly terrifying "monster" as he becomes calculated and decisive with his next victims
Some sleepers not sure if they get mentioned - the Blair witch project - the people under the stairs - barbarian (I know it’s new but it’s insanely good) - pet Semetary - stake land
I’ve wanted a draft where they are the topic of the week. So they’ll do a different draft for each person, so 4 different weeks. Have Danny or any others in the office be the guest. You get 2 stories, 1 mannerism or phrase they commonly use, 1 redeeming quality, 1 miscellaneous. Maybe do a worst overall draft as a category instead of one of the ones above? Idk. Just throwing out ideas

Being able to see everyone on screen at the same time was awesome. I need this layout for every draft. Richard Roeper was great! So was Kenjac.
Very refreshing draft
Best draft in a long time
Fantastic episode everyone! Richard really helped enhance every aspect.
Having never heard of Richard he was a great addition. Especially since the cast of non-barstool draftees is so thin I was skeptical but he really gave that expert presence. A good balance to the fanboy-relatable perspective that Kenjac and Robbie lean towards
Kind of felt like this was Roper’s show and had you guys on as guests. Just a true professional through and through 💪🏼
What's the point of the Snake Draft if we can't watch White Sox Dave make an ass of himself?
I will help out on what we missed.
WSD takes random movie no on has heard of in the first.
We dont need to hear WSD draft hocus pocus
this was so good richard is a great guest
Richard Roeper was an awesome guest!! So much insight and just great contributions constantly and a pro not tipping picks at all

@@NeonKC yes good point, I agree. I was young when I saw it the first time too so I feel you.
Modern cell phones kindof break the threat of the movie
@@jakewasnothere1 You could say that about literally any horror movie. Like... Imagine if Laurie Strode had a cell phone?
@@mattsean6164 no you can’t, a call to the cops has been shown to not stop supernatural villains. The strangers are just regular people.
Great daft! Felt like I was learning, and didn’t mind 😂
Richard roeper what a legend. Him siskell and ebert have made movie criticism what it is
This was so entertaining. Have the guest back again.
Roeper is the best. Good get.
Eddie Picks The Sixth Sense in Round 2 and has never seen The Exorcist, tells you all you need to know about him.
One of the best drafts in a long time
Sinister is without a doubt the scariest movie I've ever seen. Had a feeling it wasn't going to be picked, but it is very intense. The storyline is great too. Also Bughuul might be the most terrifying character ever created.
Oh, _SINISTER_ is scary, disturbing stuff indeed. But what do you think about the sequel? Do you like it or hate it?
@@fromtexas2734 I thought the sequel was ok. Definitely not as good as the first one, but still some very horrifying scenes. Definitely had my heart racing when I first watched it lol
The dinner scene in the original Texas chainsaw massacre was too disturbing to not draft. Especially after reading about the production.

Vintage Carl, prepared and positive. Perfect panel!
Not sure if the editor picked up on it but it should say Alien, not Aliens(the sequel). Huge difference.
This was just a tremendous draft. I thoroughly enjoyed it start to finish. Intelligent discourse throughout. Amazing stuff
I was hoping 13 Ghosts made the Honorable mentions. That movie scarred me. I still think about it once in a while.
Silence of the Lambs to me is clearly a thriller but it is tough to draw a line.
Great guest list, great draft. Impossible to only name 25 movies. Insidious is a recent slept on one.
Roeper rocks
unreal cast for this one
40:41 Saw-Con??? Saw-con DEEZ NUTS. Missed opportunity there.
Great draft topic boys and great draft boards all the way around !
Amazing draft and guest!
I really enjoyed this. This should be annual.
Carl didn’t know Jack Nicholson
Who tf is Jack Nockleson?
The conjuring as Mr Irrelevant is lethal
A low-key sleeper horror film that scared the hell out of me when I first watched it was [REC].
As above so below definitely deserves a shout out. original idea based off of an actual place and a plausible concept
28 days later not on this list was surprising. The score alone was worthy of 4th/5th round. House of a 1000 corpses was another good one that was missed.
Could be recency bias but kinda shocked sinister didn’t get a mention. The scariest movie I’ve ever seen
Great job. Easy to tell from first 5 minutes this would be good. Please do more drafts from experts outside of Barstool!
Legit stopped the draft and went to watch It Follows and then came back. Had never heard of it but it delivered
Great Draft...The Strangers is honestly one of the scariest of movies I've seen as an adult...the Momma Tried scene still gives me chills every time when I see it
Candyman was the best value pick in the draft, he just took the Tom Brady of horror movies in the middle of the draft.
Missed: The Hills Have Eyes, Children of the Corn. Guilty pleasure honorable mentions: Puppet Master, Silver Bullet
Great content bois
Shining, Exorcist, Halloween, Friday 13, Poltergeist
one of the best drafts imo
When a stranger callls and 7
John Carpenter’s The Thing is easily one of my favorite horror/sci-fi movies of all time. Such a great pick kenjac!
My top 5 Horror Films
1. American Psycho
2. The Thing (1982)
3. Evil Dead II
4. The Lighthouse
5. I Saw the Devil
Also, Jaws isn’t a horror movie man
Insidious, stir of echoes, it, and the rear window I think are great
I’m surprised The Witch didn’t make it
I'm very disappointed Human Centipede was not even mentioned.
Great draft
Missing so many, with drafts like these you need to do top 10 each
Robbie lapped the competition in this one
My draft: Friday the 13th, Child's Play, Texas Chainsaw Massascre, Hostel, 28 Days later.
Still can’t get through The Omen to this day
Carl. Your the fucking best.
Richard was a amazing guest.
Snake draft as good as it’s ever been.
Don’t let them boys fuck with you Red Ed!
Robbie destroyed the draft once again
Eddie brought it up as an honorable mention but I was surprised it wasn’t picked . I should note I am not a horror or scary movie watcher. The one movie that came to mind was Paranormal Activity. I am on pick 23 and can't believe evil dead has not been picked!
Also nice seeing everyone get their opinion out and not have white Sox dave cut them off to give his
Saw in the second round is deff worth it
WSD moments snake draft with special guest William Williams
Terrifier 2
Stinks that horror movies just aren’t what they used to be
Didn’t Chief draft The Others at one point and got shit on for it but now that not-chief drafted it it’s okay?
No poltergeist is a surprise
Some sleepers not sure if they get mentioned
- the Blair witch project
- the people under the stairs
- barbarian (I know it’s new but it’s insanely good)
- pet Semetary
- stake land
Watched barbarian recently, the first section was scary af
BWP gets drafted last pick 4th round.
Poltergeist scared the shit out of me as a kid.
Bravo
No Evil Dead 1 or 2 and no Poltergeist is surprising...two of my personal favorites but maybe not true horror are Fright Night and The Lost Boys
Madsen was Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs👍🏼
And Toni Collette WAS nominated for Sixth Sense
Who is this guy?? He fits right in, what a fookin champ👏🏻🎉
Richard Roeper is one of the most well-known and respected film critics in the country.
Ebert & Roeper. And before Ebert & Roeper, it was Siskel & Ebert.
Wild that “Psycho” didn’t make the list.
Look how happy Carl is when WSD and Chief arent there.
Roeper is the fuckin best
No one jumping in with “sawcon these nuts” was hugely disappointing haha. Felt like a Kenjac moment
this show should be virtual only 2/3 barstool Chicago people more often.
This guy was a beast
I don’t think American Psycho is a horror movie
Glad Nightmare on Elm Street got taken but no Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday the 13th is kind of crazy
I’ve wanted a draft where they are the topic of the week. So they’ll do a different draft for each person, so 4 different weeks. Have Danny or any others in the office be the guest. the disrespect to paranormal activity is astonishing, hardly gets mentioned by Eddie at the end and everyone just says yeah and moves on
The Thing number one over all is aces for the boys
Eye for an Eye wrecked me as a kid.
Not having the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre on here makes me legitimately angry.
Carl couldn’t sit this one out?
How did psycho, Texas chainsaw massacre and Friday the 13th go undrafted also insidious and sinister coulda been sneaky late round picks
I thought Robbie picked Friday the 13th…..
The original Pyscho and Amityville Horror are huge misses
No Jeepers Creepers?
Final Destination 2 big miss here. An entire generation of adults are scared of driving behind logging trucks due to that movie
I think about that all the time
Richard won this in the first 2 picks
Not even a mention of Psycho (1960)? The original slasher movie. All-time classic.
I couldn't believe it never got mentioned. Especially after American Psycho got picked
Carl is so blatantly nervous and uncomfortable when he has no clue what he’s talking about. That said, good draft!
Am I the only one whose life was changed by "It"? I put a wash cloth in the bottom of my shower for 10 years after.... not one Steven King movie?
Bone Tomahawk great movie
Surprised no love for the original Pet Sematary such a creepy movie on multiple levels
The thing, no top 1, top 25 yes
