Appreciate you tuning in. Been here for a couple years but ramping up MLS content. Mostly positive, will be critical when required. Thanks for tuning in.
It can help. The best way is making transfer targets more attainable. Hard to get players you want at the right price in the middle of European or South American seasons. Contracts naturally run their course too. Also working the other way when selling talent, which is going to be a bumper industry moving forward. Will take some time to see difference on field though.
I think it will help through better on-field product and alignment with the EPL season that so many people are watching. Even though total in-person attendance per season might go down in cold cities, it could actually be better in warm cities by avoiding the summer heat. Hopefully a wash.
Honestly Max ive gone back and forth on this all week, ive just got a feeling NYRB will do it, maybe its just me over-thinking it, im a neutrql really, im just hoping for a great game
Need a big game from Marco Reus. Hes been underwhelming in the postseason. We were at his Galaxy debut game and his quality on the ball was just so obvious. Maybe Riqui has been holding him back, they do seem to get in each other’s way. So how do you “moneyball” the midfield and replace Riqui in the aggregate? I think you start Delgado and tell him to run as hard as Riqui. At the half, if you’re ahead, sub in Brugman. Or if you’re chasing, sub in Fagundez. Then at the 60th, see if Reus has any gas in the tank, or bring in the other mid.
I heard Reus is struggling healthwise. Yes Delgado is the key and Brugman will play a role maybe both start. Interesting decisions for Vanney, but he has been there before.
LA played without Riqui during a good part of the summer going 3W 2T 1L, they played with cerillo and brugman as pivots with delgado filling in for both while fagundez took Riqui’s spot. They beat RSL, NYcFC, and SKC. I wouldn’t overlook the Puig absence, but also credit to NYRB for coming back after a really long time
If you want to be a major league then you should do as the major leagues do in Europe where the best team wins the title every year and doesn’t use a fluke playoff system gimmick to crown a “champion”
I said this, rigui puis is better than mbabe, live club aside, i am not fan of this boy buy boy is balling like he is about to tranform the way people sees soccer in the world
MLS history is "unique"? No, it sucks. They change the format seemingly every year and let in 18 out of 29 teams to the playoffs. It's always a gimmick and a shitty one at that.
I was at the MLS cup in 08. And I'll be there this Saturday. Go Galaxy!
I was there with you.. Where has the time gone?
This is awesome.. I’ve been looking for good MLS content like this for a while .. all positive vibes hope to see your channel grow 🍻

Getting rid of the neutral-site MLS Cup was a huge step forward.👍
That was a nightmare. I was there for ESPN in Toronto 2010 when the decision to jettison it was made. Smart move.
Red bulls are balling like fire and they got sharp ball player that is hungry to win world cup
Oh no. It’s a great storyline LA VS NY!!! Don’t downplay it.
If you say so. It's not nothing, but down the pecking order for me. Thanks for tuning in.
I forgot that that is tyler Adams team before he got call to camp for usmt and europe
Do you think changing the MLS schedule will actually push MLS to the next level? I am still unconvinced its going to do anything but lower attendance

@@cubanhammer These things feel like they're easier to figure out and work around than the weather. but I guess we will see

Is true, we couldn't believe that red bulls makes a great columbus looks bad

Oh man…a Cerrillo/Brugman/Delgado midfield would be my call if the game was in Miami. But at home v RB I want to see the Showtime offense.
Revisiting this… I think it was the right call…🤣
@@santiagohills3997 You nailed it.

MLS is a joke because of the playoff system; why do we even play the regular season?
