      I use FL studio so I don't know if you can answer it but I wanted to make a song with serum and I don't have it and when I looked it up it was very expensive and I can't buy it so I have to use harmless. Do you think that it's a lot harder to do good songs without all these great plug-ins like serum and sylenth1

    Hey guys, what is the presets name you used for the bass in omnisphere? I'm trying to recreate your song atm. When looked through omnispheres bass library I couldn't find something that sounded close enough. Did you tweaked one preset by yourself? Can you name the preset you start with? Thank you guys very much

  • @stoenmusic8997
    @stoenmusic8997 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you mainly use loops or do you program all the drums using one-shots? I think the drums in addition to the vocal chops is the icing on the cake on your awesome tracks so would be interesting to find out!

    • @NOTD
      @NOTD  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      we try to make our own loops from samples (one-shots) as much as possible, but sometimes we use loops in the background!

  • @auxitup6673
    @auxitup6673 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey guys, what a sick track!! Thank you so much for this breakdown! I have a couple questions:
    - Do you usually come up with the drop melody on guitar or by messing around with vocal chops?
    - Any good serum bank for chords?
    - Last one, i am struggeling with good bass sounds, yours are always so dope.. would you mind telling us the preset you've used for this track? :x
    Thank you so much guys

    • @NOTD
      @NOTD  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it depends... sometimes on guitar, but mostly messing around with vocal chops or with a lead sound on a midi keyboard! there are loads of good banks, we usually make our own synths or tweak presets. this bass is from omnisphere
