I love how independent and free you are. Your vlogs are always enjoyable even when you struggle with something. Where is your little mouse? Keep living with nature and enjoy every moment because you never know what might happen. I loved being alone in the mountains of British Columbia years ago...so peaceful and serene. Now I'm 77, had too many surgeries, and only memories. Keep going young lady. Hugs from an old man in Utah.
You are so right. At "52," I was in three accidents. I've been in pain 24/7 for 24 years now. We don't plan on being physically hurt and unable to do simple things. So, you go girl. I'm so happy when I see young people living their dream. I'm wishing you well Robert.
I love these one-day film type videos because I know that means you get to be off camera the rest of the week ❤ thanks for making these videos that cheer us all up!
Info from when I went to survival school, is you never pull rocks from the water to build a fire ring. The rock has water in it and when the heat from the fire heats up the rock the water turns to steam and can make the rock can explode.
Probably a good job you gave up on that 2nd fire. If you use wet rocks / river rocks around a fire they can splinter / explode as trapped water turns to steam . Always use dry rocks when poss or at least not heat wet rocks quickly. Lovely vid as always Hannah
You are about the age of my oldest granddaughter!! As a 24/7 caregiver of my 94 year old mother, I don’t get out much!!! Love seeing your adventures….thanks so much for sharing them!!! Also…the fall colors in this video are just stunning!!! Not even a hint of color yet in central Oklahoma!!
Love your videos Hannah, that hammock looks cool. Little suggestion, be careful with wet rocks in fires, seen them explode before, a friend took some shrapnel to his face, nearly got him in the eye
Spoke to my tribe✨ about this just this past year after picking up some pretty big lannon stone from a special spring for a fire pit🪶 glad you shared that.
river rocks (any rock near water source) can be dangerous, any moisture trapped in a rock will make the cracks expand when heated and so the rock cracks and explodes
Hi love your videos, but as a nature reserve manager i realy want to inform about how bad it is to make fire directly on a rock or cliff, i dont want to be rude but the cliff can split from the hot and cold changes and cliffs and rocks are an ending resource so pls spred the word and be a role model! Just put some smaller rocks under the fire to get it of the ground and your all good! Wish you gr8 weather and more nice adventures🥰
Girl you are costing me MONEY! After being on my bucket list for years and years you inspired me to finally build my "Walter" RV. (2015 Ford Transit extended length that I had the roof cut off and raised 12" to accommodate my 6'-2" height). And I've been a kayaker for 20+ years but now I want an Oru folding kayak. (Anyone in the market for two well taken care of 14' sit-in kayaks?) Now I'm jealous of that hammock! Sooo much better than the one I have that kills my back. I'm going to have to stop watching your vids; I'm buying too much stuff! 😂
The perfect camping spot, agreed! And, inspiring... I'm camping in my backyard with my granddaughters tonight. Not quite the same but still fun. 🏕️🍁🦋 tent, campfire, hotdogs, & maybe s'mores for dessert.
Never underestimate the good memories derived from backyard camping, some of my happiest moments in life were those of my cousins and myself camping in the grandparents back yard. And I have done the same for my nieces and nephews. And it is a whole lot more convenient when you have 3-8 little people to keep an eye on. It might be considered "glamping" but I chose to frame it as a safer way to introduce them into the skills needed for camping later on. like how to set up a fire ring, and gathering branches and setting up a tent, etc. and that they can have fun w/o a screen in their face. I figure if that is the first thing they ask when they walk in the door where I am going to babysit for a weekend "Aunt De? Can we camp again?" then, well, it's a good thing. Be well and safe all who read this. Live happy.
You picked such a perfect day for kayaking, and your campsite looks so peaceful and beautifully remote. Maybe hiring some extra help for your store could ease some of your responsibilities and free up more time for you to relax and enjoy moments like this, just like in the good old days. You truly deserve more of those carefree adventures! 🥂
What a great way to start my Sunday with your beautiful, relaxing, kayaking short video. I love you out in nature, you are so at ease s and peaceful. Love that hamper...hammock + camper... looks cozy and ether netting zipping around you is perfect. Lovely video, Hannah, gracias. ❤
It's amazing how you get anything done at all with all the remote camera set ups you do. I love how the camera was already in place when you pulled up by the big rocks. 😊😊
You are a huge influencer for solo camping for me. I converted a van and now I camp on my own all the time. Not as brave as you yet with wilderness camping on my own, but baby steps. Love you Hannah 🤗❤️
Hannah, you are so resourceful. 🧠💪 I admire that part of you! 🥰 Thank you for taking us along on this short reprieve. It was a joy! 🍁 Have a wonderful week. 🙏
I love your adventures alone. I used to do solo camping a lot and loved it, plus snowshoeing and the natural wilderness feeds your solo. I loved hiking and being with nature.
Thank you, Hannah-Lee! That was wonderful! Reminded me of times when I was younger, would finish work and load my kayak head off for my days off camping in the Gulf Islands. Occasionally finished late and would make a night crossing which added to the adventure but certainly was a great way to destress. 🤗🤗
Thank you so much for enjoying us with your stories and taking the time to make them so beautiful in your videos ❤❤ and also thank you for empowering all the women who watch your videos (like me)! 🔥
Are you actually allowed to make fires directly on top of rocks/stone slabs in the US? In Sweden that's not allowed since it "scars" the rock - it can cause it to crack and leave burns that may never look the same again
As so many have said - always look forward to and enjoy your videos. One question - what brand is your hammock tent!??! I'm usually not a fan of hammock tents but that one looks very comfy and interesting! See you on your next adventure - which includes all your house and cabin stuff which we enjoy the most! Be well!
Marvelous camping trip. Beautiful site and great weather, considering it is Fall. Your camp-craft was outstanding. Love the little light's on the hammock. 😎❤
Oh thank you so much for setting up your fire the correct way. So many people are taught to do it up and down or something, I think by the various scout organizations, and then a lot of people stack it perfectly regularly so there’s no space in between. It all makes me insane. Yours is just right.
Your videos bring calm to my life, much needed and appreciated. Judging from the wind you experienced, i think i was at my hunting shack in Northern Minnesota the same weekend. Thanks for creating this content 😊
I like the tent you chose I never knew they made such a thing you picked an amazing spot the sound of water is very relaxing wishin you a stress free next 2 weeks Hannah
That owl is so interesting - I know they exist everywhere, and I'm always impressed when they silently swoop past, but then I can never see where they went to. Same with other animals like hawks, etc. There's an Osprey nest at the Lake Murray walking path and I can clearly see the Ospreys, but I'm always impressed and amazed that they're there, even though the nest is built on a man-made platform located in a power line support structure, so it's always there and the Ospreys always nest there every year. In Spring Valley, it's rural-urban so there are some wild animals, mostly coyotes, skunks, opossums, but a hawk will come near and the crows surround them, but it happens so rarely that I always want to watch the hawk with binoculars ... somehow they sense my prying eyes and this spooks them. The crows follow, dive-bombing the hawk as it tries to gain altitude. It feels so pointless, like I'm half-heartedly trying to pursue some contact with Nature that will be fruitful somehow, but I also know I will only ever take the photos and paint the paintings of the animals. It leaves me feeling like Nature is a false, fleeting illusion. Maybe I need an abundance of exposure to these creatures that surround us and make up an integral part of our ecosystem. Google, painting and sculpting them, I guess. They all intrigue me, every single one, except maybe those Potato Bugs... and Ants are kind of boring.
Such a beautiful video ,I can imagine how nice that felt to be in a very peaceful n relaxing place, glad you shared it with us..looking forward to your next video, always enjoy them 😊👏❤️
Never do fire on rocks or big boulders..The heat and the cold make them crack. In scandivavia its forbidden to do campfires on solid sea or mountin rocks..so what you did in the end is ok.
I love how independent and free you are. Your vlogs are always enjoyable even when you struggle with something. Where is your little mouse? Keep living with nature and enjoy every moment because you never know what might happen. I loved being alone in the mountains of British Columbia years ago...so peaceful and serene. Your a man and that was long ago. Now people stalk you and are predators. Women alone just aren’t safe.
You are so right. At "52," I was in three accidents. I've been in pain 24/7 for 24 years now. We don't plan on being physically hurt and unable to do simple things. So, you go girl. I'm so happy when I see young people living their dream. I'm wishing you well Robert.
💐
I too was wondering about Devereaux.
Dixie (I think that was her name!!) passed, Devereaux is fine and she got a new mouse for him because he was lonely!
I love these one-day film type videos because I know that means you get to be off camera the rest of the week ❤ thanks for making these videos that cheer us all up!
I appreciate your video's.

Great to know!
This is what we all need to take time for. To decompress our every day life. Thanks for taking us alone. Beautiful scenery. Happy Sunday to all. ❤
🪶
This mood in here is everything!
That was really nice. Thanks for taking us with you.
You never cease to amaze me with your ability to just take off and camp in the wild on your own your an inspiration to this old lady lol
Hannah thank you for doing this for yourself and for me tagging along! This is where you belong dear!
Probably a good job you gave up on that 2nd fire.

Love your videos Hannah, that hammock looks cool. Little suggestion, be careful with wet rocks in fires, seen them explode before, a friend took some shrapnel to his face, nearly got him in the eye
Oooohh good to know!! Thank you
Spoke to my tribe✨ about this just this past year after picking up some pretty big lannon stone from a special spring for a fire pit🪶 glad you shared that.
Is this stelth camping, or did you check to see who the property o2ner is?
river rocks (any rock near water source) can be dangerous, any moisture trapped in a rock will make the cracks expand when heated and so the rock cracks and explodes
Not a real concern with a campfire.
Dry bags for the kayak (or canoe), once you got 'em, you will love them (they last years & years & years) !

Lifetime SOT kayaks are amazing! They don’t fold but they are very stable and dependable. And they come in awesome colors!
Hannah, your photography in this video is breathtaking!❤️

Loved every second vid! You did great!

Ahhh, the lost art of enjoying ones own company in the wilds. So mellow and good for the soul. I hope the wind was in your favor on the way back.
Best part of Sunday is Hannah Lee Dugan!
I'm sending everyone peace-filled and loving thoughts.
Oh my gosh, I LOVE kayak/camping in the great northwoods! Enjoy the beauty before the winter comes!

Nothing like a little canoe camping to help get you in the right state of mind.
I love putting on your videos while I do stuff around the house or read. You have such a soothing voice

There is a mattress cover from Haven that will make it warmer. Plus after seeing your lights, I'm definitely getting them for mine.
I love my haven hammock too!

Great video, Great outing. Your gear looks very to be very good quality. Could you put a gear list in the description?
Sweetheart there’s nothing like a good fire to calm the soul. It’s my favorite thing to calm myself.Jay from Mississippi.
Really neat video. I love solo camping videos. If you do it again, include more about what food you brought and cooked.
Just took my first solo camping trip in my van. It felt a lot like this 😌 peaceful. You are an inspiration to strive for independence 💪
Beautiful! Always a much better paddle if the wind works with you rather than against lol
Thanks for bringing us along!
Much ❤
Ooouu so excited for this! I've never been kayaking but I want to. It looks like a lot of fun. And the fall leaves!!! Yess 🍁🍂🧡🤎
Sunday manifestation with another beautiful video from Hannah! Thank you for keeping us all inspired by sharing your adventurous life 🖤
Just wish it was longer!! 15 minutes isn't enough 😢 it was so peaceful.
Cool! I love camping. Most important tool a person can have out in the woods, camping, is a good axe. Take care and keep having fun. Cheers!
I enjoyed this video! If you need a little boost rewatch it and remember the hammock in the sun and the wind on your back in the kayak. Cheers mate
Looks beautiful and peaceful! You, Isabel and Hitomi are my favorite one with nature girls
That was relaxing and beautiful land ☕ love from Michigan 🖐️♥️
Yup, feeling better right now!
Great video♥️
The crazy owl sounds you heard were probably a Bigfoot letting the other Bigfoot know you were in the area.
You're very smart. I've watched how your mind works. It's beautiful!
Received a package from Lupine Lane! Love, love, love! Thank you for being the most lovely creator (of many things) that you are! ♥️
Are you actually allowed to make fires directly on top of rocks/stone slabs in the US? In Sweden that's not allowed since it "scars" the rock - it can cause it to crack and leave burns that may never look the same again
I live right up town, so I've always wanted to live in the countryside & the city. You're my dream escape now that you're doing both!
This camp spot was everything!
hannah what brand of kayak is that one you have?
Wonderful video, Hannah!!! ❤
I laughed way too hard at the three second cameo of the hammock flapping uncontrollably 😂
lmfaoooo you should’ve seen me trying to get in it 😂
As so many have said - always look forward to and enjoy your videos. One question - what brand is your hammock tent!??! I'm usually not a fan of hammock tents but that one looks very comfy and interesting!

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY, SEE WHY YOU CHOSE IT!
I love nature. A peacefull time away from problems and work
What a fantastic spot for a fire, some food and a good book! Lovely. Thank you for bringing us!

Isnt it funny how the hawks can feel when you are watching them even through a window? I have experienced this as well!
Go Hannah!
that hammock looks so great! may i ask where its from?
Love living vicariously through you! I so wish I had the balls to do this but I don’t. Maybe with a friend I could. You rock Hannah! ✌️
Glad your doing well stay safe 💓 😊
Such a beautiful video ,I can imagine how nice that felt to be in a very peaceful n relaxing place, glad you shared it with us..looking forward to your next video, always enjoy them 😊👏❤️
Fun…nice to have an overnight camping trip before the weather there doesn’t permit. ❤ 🍂 🍁
Beautiful camp spot! Loved it! ❤
My loneliness fade away and my heart was covered by peace.May god bless you
always enjoy your time you share with me. What kind of kayak is that. It’s awesome!
It's an Oru Kayak I believe.. I have been looking at getting one myself :)
Beautiful campsite. Do you like the Haven tent? I’ve been thinking about buying one.
I hope you get some lovely autumnal shots at your cabin or homestead 🧡🤎🍁🍂🥹 best time of the year!!!

I love the simplicity of this video. The calmness transcends through the camera and I feel like I'm sitting right by the fire with a pal. ❤️❤️
It's been a couple of years since I've checked in on how things are going. Looks like you've made a great life for yourself. All the best to you.
6:40 I noticed she is Using a Crkt Squid knife. My favorite knife.
