Remove two cons It has double airbags. This car has a side airbag as well as a airbag making it quite safe. Besides its 3 stars on ANCAP And why is it unsuitable for long drives? Its a car with a very cheap fuel economy

My copy, despite the mileage (254K km), is very well-kept and recently I was doing a tinsmith in it, and now I'm thinking about buying a second Matiz with a mileage of 108K km, which the owner has not used for 3 years and therefore has not had a review and there are a few things in it I have to do, but I don't know if I can buy it. Matiz, despite being a small and quite old car, drives very well, looks fresh and in my opinion it is the best city car from that period. I also have a Chevrolet Matiz 80K km, but it's not the same. Apart from the Matizs, I have a Seicento 50K km, it is very nice but still not as comfortable as matiz. regards

Its either steam , either smoke from burning oil, but to be honest i think its both of them :) , he its kinda over accelerating it and it tends to burn a lot of oil in that rpm

Przez te 3 lata użytkowania jedyna wymiana to pasek alternatora ok. 10zl i właściwe to tyle nie licząc oc i paliwa. Auto za 3k a było pewniejsze niż za 20k, zawsze odpalało i jechało nawet w najbardziej zimne dni.

This car is also very popular in delivery services in my country (Eastern Europe). The only real downside is: it is totally unsuitable for highway driving :( And you have to drive flat-out on gas pedal about 70% of time. Otherwise - a great mean of transportation ;)
Maybe yours has a problem? I've owned one for the last 14 years, getting to 120-130 Km/h is no issue and max speed is around 147-150 Km/h. And I've owned two of them.
Toto auto bylo moc úzké. Citlivé na pohyb volantu a naklánělo se. Taková Toyta Aygo nebo Renault Twingo je o 12 cm širší a tím pádem lépe sedí na vozovce.
I prefer this model to the Chev matiz....I had an O4 model in Electric blue & it never let me down,but was hot n stuffy in a Summer & windows did steam up badly in a Winter... But they are solid cars... Beep....Beep!😘
It's quite rare to find any units with original hubcaps. They are definitely not the most practical and tend to have scratches or major cracks throughout the years - that's why many of them found their way into a trash cain. You should be glad if you can find them in some mint condition.
Matiz looks good for a first car, to get some experience under the belt. And yet, I can't watch this POV without Manaam - Luciola... Perhaps due to the history of this car.

In ads, they used to call it "little giant", due to the good space/size ratio. In Eastern Europe these were used also as taxi's, having a frugal engine, being fairly reliable and easy to maintain (unlike some people opinion). The biggest problem: based on late 80's platform, they were not really safe.

Yes they are great but after about 15-20 years they get worn down and get more frequent problems especially with high friction parts

Probably head gasket failure. Head gaskets can fail on an older Matiz.

It's a base version of Matiz, basically it's just a chassis and body with wheels and engine, so yes, there is no any kind of power steering.
