For someone who's sick, I commend her for doing her best. However, judging by almost every live performance I've ever heard of hers, she never sounds better than the album version. So, to me, she isn't a vocalist in the vein of Lady Gaga and others who came up around the same time as her. She's a pop star/singer. I would've loved if she did extensive vocal training the way vocalists like Miley Cyrus has done throughout her entire career (literally singing for her vocal coach while on the treadmill). So many popstars don't want to put the work in, so we just get inundated with untrained singers on the radio.
