    ---------------------------------------
    ‘My Soul's Demise’ Lyrics
    ---------------------------------------
    I will eat the bread
    Off of your breast
    To feast on your lies
    Your wickedness and spite
    Insignificant misdeeds
    Or horrible crimes
    I wouldn't think twice
    And make them all mine
    Your death will be
    My soul's demise
    I'll carry your sins
    But who will carry mine?
    Who? Who will carry mine?
    Who will carry mine?
    Over your lifeless chest
    I will drink some beer
    To consume your malice
    As a souvenir
    Your death will be
    My soul's demise
    I'd do anything
I love you more than life
    I'll carry your sins
    But who will carry mine?
    Who? Who will carry mine?
    Who will carry mine?
    Who? Who will carry mine?
    Who will carry mine?
No one can even look me in the eye
No one can even look me in the eye
Everybody is flinching away from me
    As I pass by
    Your death will be
    My soul's demise
    I'll carry your sins
    But who will carry mine?
    Who? Who will carry mine?
    Who will carry mine?
    Who? Who will carry mine?
    Who will carry mine?

Music is not about who is better! Music is about finding different compositions in various arrangements that sounds good for the listeners ear.
When I'm listening to music I don't compare (cause I listened to really enough music). I just decide what I like and what not ;-)

@@g4tnewnewg4t48 Regarding "music" as a matter of taste it is not really possible being objective, cause everyone has got various senses and likes. So - if you want you can take the amount of sold records, people at a concert etc. But Lacuna Coil (don't get me wrong - I'm a big fan of them) is inside the business for decades and Blackbriar is pretty new. Zora Cox could easily be Cristina Scabbias (if you look at their age) daughter. So you compare from a certain point of view oranges with apples. The one person like apples more, the other oranges. But for being fed up you can eat both - even better if you mix the various foods.

The ritual of the sin eater. Common practice in 17th to early 20th century Ireland and Scotland ( although its roots go back to the Middle Ages.) It is said the last sin eater died in the early 1900s.

One of the truly best creations of the band. This song is inspired by the medieval practice of sin eating, a ritual where mourning families had a sin eater to consume their loved one’s sins by eating food left on the dead person’s chest. It’s a song about love and pain, where you are willing to do anything for the one you love, even if that means it will destroy you 🖤

What an amazing song and video. It's a tribute to ancient history: it shows how some people were hypocritical. One hired sin eaters to release their loved one's from sins after their death. Afterwards that persons, sin eaters I mean, where cast out of society. Nobody even look them in the eyes. Congrats to Zora's acting. 🖤

For those who do not know: earlier, almost until the 19th century, there was such a position as "Sin Eater".
It was believed that the sins of the deceased can be eaten, that is, taken upon oneself if you eat food from his dead body.
Most often, this was done by tramps or just people on the verge of complete poverty, who no longer cared.
The church did not welcome this, but it was not strongly against it either.

The idea of loving someone enough to take on their sins and be forced to carry your own after your loved one dies...there's something so painful in that, a loneliness with everyone shunning you for it. This song is absolutely stunning as are all your your msuic!

Sorry, I couldn't help but express my support for your musical evolution. I tried to resist, but I cracked after the 50th listen!
Zora: If you want, I'll carry your sins, don't worry! The way you can capture the magic and strong feelings of a story with delightful words, wrapped in enchanting and deep melodies. The way you can sing it. The way you can deliver it to us with exceptional music that obeys your beautiful voice and with incredibly excellent acting in a cinematic work of art. That is worth all the sins!
When you find a new melody, it is like you are picking a beautiful rose in the desert and offering it to us. I thank you for that and I'm sure it's the most beautiful thing we can receive, until a new song comes out and we discover with wonder the beauty of the next flower you might pick on Mars or even in a black hole. You are the music! You are the art! And it is limitless, within you! 🙏❤️
PS: No, I am not exaggerating!

I won't be ever greatful enough that I got to know such a music band like yours. I have strong feelings everytime I hear your music and your voice and, as I imagined, you didn’t disappoint me with this new single. The lyrics, the music, the voice... everything is just gold! I can't wait to have the whole album in my hands 🩷

I've been around for awhile, seen and heard a lot of music from many genres. I tend to enjoy the darker and heavier music the most. This song is easily one of the most beautiful and haunting pieces of music I have ever heard. The video is amazing as well.i wish I had known about this band a long time ago.
