    I was on the hunt for a good closed back and I found an open box audeze maxwell for 250 and I love them. I was considering some denons before that

    I wonder if this is a 'fixed' version of the Fostex TH900 (VERY v shaped to the point where the bass overpower the mids), and a good complement to my Audio Technica AP2000Tis (the very definition of sparkling highs)

    Have you heard d9200? If yes which one you prefer?

      I sadly have not 🫤, though it is something I want to try in the future. A friend of mine has one and loves it, though he does say the bass is not as good or prominent but he prefers the d9200 overall.

    Nice review mate,
    Have you heard airpods max and zmf bokeh? if yes then how they compares to denon?
    And brother how much is zmf atticus more natural sounding vs denon?
    How you define natural sounding?
    And what would you choose for yourself between them

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks!
      Sadly I have not tried the max or bokeh sorry.
      I don't think in terms of naturalness it's a huge difference but I did find the 7200 to be a little more natual.
      Defining natural sound is a bit difficult but here is my best attempt: it sounds non metallic, like a wooden instrument instead of an electric one. I find natural sounding to have the upper treble to be more rolled off and the timbre to be more comfortable and less metallic sounding. Like listening to a wood instrument instead of it being replayed on a speaker. More real and comfortable. Smooth and coherent. No sudden spikes in parts of the treble or midrange.
      I personally would choose the 7200. 🙂

      @@PraisedAudio thank you brother, i bought the denon d7200 and right side is giving me problem, i have to figure out why its causing this, it only plays music for 10 mins and right side goes off but from what i heard its smooth with bass not bloating other frequencies and soundstage is like medium, overall a good headset
      Sound leakage is also very minor
      Next thing i will try is sony z1r or fostex th900, people say that these are the best closed back headsets
      If you have heard them, are these 2 huge step up or minor?

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That sucks that you are getting driver issues you should probably contact Denon about that. Sadly I haven't heard the z1r or the th900 so I can't give a opinion on that sorry 🫤

    Hi. People used to complain at the recessed mids some time ago. Was that corrected in the latest units?

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I don't know if there was a change in recent units over older ones I haven't heard about that. I don't find the mids to be recessed unless you change the pads. 🙂

    Hey. If you were choosing, which of these three would you buy: the Audeze LCD2 Closed Back, Denon AH-D7200, Hifiman Ananda?

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Personally my favorite of the 3 is the 7200, it is one of my favorite headphones in general. But it depends on what you are looking for. I haven't heard the lcd2 closed in a long time to be fair. Comparing the Ananda and 7200, If you want more stage and need good comfort, and more energy in the treble, the Ananda is a better buy. If you want better detail, a more natural sound, and better bass, I'd prefer the 7200. 🙂
      The Ananda NANO is a different story however. I haven't heard it for very long but in my brief demo of it, it was far more impressive than the regular Ananda. Haven't used it long enough to compare it with 7200 though 🫤.

      Thank you so much for your feedback! Really appreciate it.
      The Denon AH-D7200 costs $500 open box.
      There is an option to get the Ananda NANO for $600, but I don't know if it's worth the overpayment compared to the regular one for $370.@@PraisedAudio

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ofc! I'd say the Ananda Nano is worth the increase in price over the normal one, it sounds a lot better imo. That is also a fantastic price for the 7200. I think if you can handle the worse comfort, the 7200 is the better buy, but they both are great for the price 😄

      Id say the 7200 is good at everything you want except stage. Clear is good at everything you want but may be a little more fatiging than the Denon and less smooth, clear sounds neutral/analytical while the the Denon is more warm and smooth.
      I don't think the LCD is what your looking for imo
